4 Best Craft Breweries near Old Saybrook

Myrcene Ale Co. Brewery • $$
39 Ragged Rock Rd, Old Saybrook

“Really wonderful brewery in a beautiful area of Connecticut. We were here a couple of weeks ago on a very hot and humid day and had our dogs with us. Myrcene Brewery is dog friendly and allows the dogs to hang out inside (as long as they are well behaved). It was such a great oasis from the heat. Great beer (I took some home) and the atmosphere and the staff could not have been nicer. They have games too!“

Coastline Brewing Company Brewery • $$
4 Grove Beach Rd N, Westbrook - 5.35 miles

“Love this spot. It gives Cape Cod vibes on the coast of CT--truly quintessential New England. It's majorly clean with plenty of seating inside and out. Beer options are plentiful and the IPAs (my favorite) were phenomenal and may be one of the best I've tried in a long time. They have the beautiful color down-- I knew before tasting it was going to be lovely. The food menu is plentiful and there are plenty of options for all tastes. This is the perfect stop after the beach or really any time. I'll be back again and again and can't wait to come here in the warmer months.“

“All time favourite brewery.Love the vibe, the unique and thoughtful brews, attention to detail in the quality of the beer from the Ingredients, all the way to the packaging. To top it off it feels good supporting a business who made the effort to lower their carbon footprint with a solar roof!Little House is top notch“

HIGH NINE Brewing Brewery •
6 Winter Ave suite 7, Deep River - 7.32 miles

“The girls and I did a little shopping and then brewery hoping last weekend. The location was easy to find. There's seating outdoors and indoors. The building appears to have been an old warehouse. Inside is a spacious area with plenty of hangout space, tables, booths, Foosball and Darts. We decided to drink at the bar. We were greeted by a young man who placed coasters for our drinks and a menu to read. They also have a large chalkboard that can be changed when needed. He gave us a welcoming smile and some time to go over the menu. I decided on the Bubbly, a Peach-Grapefruit Seltzer. Mine was a light and refreshing drink. Sara tried the Purple Beer and Robin ordered the beautiful flight of beers. Prices were right and the drinks were great.“
