I had high hopes for this little spot! However, we found the pastry to be subpar/basic, unfortunately. Service was not welcoming unless you are fancy.

Came in for brunch about 90 minutes before closing. It appeared that two tables were empty but needed to be cleared. We were told that they were very busy and no tables were available. When asked the duration of the wait we were told it could be a while as they were busy. We decided to get a couple items from the bakery. We were next in line to be served when the parties left the dining room and were served ahead of us, including bakery selection. We purchased 3 croissants and left.I am not sure what was amiss, but there were four empty tables when we left. I guess they do not really want bunch customers on Sunday.Parking: Small lot with about 12 spaces.

What a pleasant surprise! We have been visiting our son for years who is part a program for disabled adults. We are foodies and have never been impressed with any food on the shoreline. This brunch was beyond all expectations! We will definitely be back.

Nice little spot in Old Saybrook that is worth checking out if you like French cuisine. It was quiet in the morning and not too crowded. The atmosphere inside puts you squarely into a little French bistro. The menu helps cement that feel. The service was good, but as it slowly filled with customers and only one waitress, it got more difficult to get their attention. That almost didn't matter as I was obsessed with the coquette I got.Highly recommend.

For how small of a restaurant this is I would expect exceptional service. Our order was given to the only other table in the restaurant and no one came to check on us. We sat for almost an hour and I never got to eat. Very disappointed with overall experience.

Don't let the name fool you - this is a "Pharmacy" of incredible French cuisine. This is not dining, rather an experience. The locale embodies French restaurants where quality and ambiance take precedence over speed of food delivered. The time, effort and care going into the plates made this near 2-hour lunch unforgettable. The French Onion soup was phenomenal and ideally seasoned. The Cocotte Tartiflette was so savory and the Croque Madame seasoned perfectly. With less than ~ 10 tables, strongly recommend reservations.

A really great place in OS that I’ve enjoyed going to since moving here! I last minute purchased a pecan pie for Thanksgiving and it was so beautiful to look at and even better, my entire family absolutely loved it. Hoping we can stop in to try the brunch soon now that I know the baked goods are so delicious.

Amazing breakfast! Great selection of options for not a large restaurant. They were able to seat us on a busy weekend morning and everything we tried was excellent. Would also recommend trying the gelato on your way out!

OMG. Initially we were disappointed that they were sold out of croissants, but the Danish I ordered instead--at the waitperson's suggestion--was amazing and even better (if you can imagine that) than a croissant. My guy's blueberry muffin was delicious as well. This is such a cute space--I'd been here when it was a Moroccan restaurant. It's bistro-ish/ice cream parlor-ish. Very charming!

This is the cutest place! I dropped in on a rainy day for brunch, and the food and atmosphere were perfect. I loved my omelette, and it was so nice seeing people just visit with one another. The atmosphere is so friendly, and I can’t wait to try the baked goods! I definitely will be back. :)
