Like the place a lot think it's a little over priced and it's so noisy I can't hear yourself think. The wine list Lisa little bit to be desired there's nothing really reasonable and they're not too many Chardonnays

This was not our first time at La Marea. It is one of our favorite restaurants. We are never disappointed in the quality of the food, including dessert. It is consistently excellent! The owners always visit customers at each table, which we really appreciate.

First time visiting. As soon as you walk in you can smell the great aromas of Italian food. Very charming atmosphere. Very casual attire and the food was great. Had a pizza..one size..12" and the pasta bolognese. The price was very moderate. Can't wait to return..Michael &Nancy.

The Service is terrible. They don't answer the phone, don't call back. The open table reservation system doesn't seem to work. The food and atmosphere is good but try to make a reservation.

No lie, no fluff, dinner was amazing! The swordfish special and the fettuccine bolognese were both spectacular. Delicious bread, meatball app, wine and the Amelia Earhart cocktail started the wonderful meal. A go-to local dining experience!

My wife and were driving back from being out of town and decide on having an early dinner. We dropped in at 5pm on Saturday and got a booth in the bar area. This place is very nicely appointed and comfortable. We have dined here before and have enjoyed the food and the ambience. My wife had the pappardelle pasta with braiciole, which was great. I had the linguine with clams, one of my favorites that I have eaten here before. When my dish arrived my wife immediately asked where the rest of the linguine was. I noticed that it was the amount of pasta recommended to folks when they are on a diet (about as big as my hand). A man came by to ask how things were and my wife asked him what happened to the linguine. He looked and responded that "They weigh everything here". Okay. I guess that makes sense, but pasta is relatively cheap. I went with it and ate my dish in under 10 minutes. The sauce was great, but a lot of it was unfortunately left on the plate without any more pasta to eat it with. I just hope that the restaurant hasn't succumbed to economic woes and is reducing proper and reasonable food amounts to save money like many places seem to be doing now. Still, for $28 dollars, please spare a little more pasta, or people are naturally going to feel ripped-off. My wife was contemplating an after dinner drink, but decided to skip it, because she was still upset at the size of my entree. We're not "volume eaters" by any means and always prefer quality over quantity, but let's do better. The size of a pricey entree shouldn't shock you in a negative way. That being said, the service was excellent and the employees with whom we interacted were extremely friendly and nice. We'll be back at some point this Spring and see what we find.

I have been to LaMarea many times and each time is better and better. I had the pleasure of meeting Juliana the owner, last night. She is delightful, most personable, and an elegant host! She welcomes you to her restaurant and makes you feel like family. Our server Joel was amazing! He couldn't do enough to make our dining experience enjoyable. We initially sat at the bar before our table was ready and had a great experience with our bartender. The food, as always was amazing. I had the duck which was prepared to perfection My husband had the pork chop. Superb! LaMarea is a must for you next dinner

Great night at La Marea! Our server Steffie was very sweet and attentive and made our anniversary dinner extra special. All of the food was outstanding. It's a 45-minute drive for us but we will definitely go back!

Halibut special and pasta entree were scrumptious, however our server seemed distracted and we actually had to ask for her. Entrees took exceptionally long to come out, which will be a consideration in the future. The dining room was only half-filled, so I'm not sure what the cause of the wait was.

We met family for lunch, and found the staff to be very accommodating. They didn't rush us recognizing that we were “catching up.” The waitress told us to take our time several times since the restaurant was closed for lunch, snd the staff was finally having their lunch. Needless to say, we will be going back.

We have been going to LaMarea since they opened and have never been disappointed. From Nino the owner to our spectacular server Karen , there is not a better restaurant in the area. Don't pass this gem up?
