My husband and I shared the chicken pot pie this evening. After patiently waiting until it cooled down, it was by far, the best I’ve ever had! Five stars in my lifetime! Thank you Pasta Vita

Very convenient for take home food although prices have gone way up you still get the same amount of food.

I have been going to Pasta Vita for over ten years, several times a week. The staff is always so nice and courteous. But in past year have been so disappointed with the quality of the food. It seems that there is lack of meat in many of dishes. Every dish has tomatoes and overloaded with peppers. Last time I got shrimp scampi I had over a cup of tomatoes that I took off( real shrimp scampi does not have tomatoes), no garlic taste! The other night we got the pork tenderloin satay with peanut sauce and it was absolutely horrible. The vegetables were awful as well. We couldn’t eat it. Recently we had a lobster pasta which was quite expensive and barely any lobster but tons of tomatoes. Sauce was decent but not special. It just seems even tacos are mushy and filled with … so much peppers and spice level is too high. Many of the cream sauce on pastas turn into total liquid when dinner is heated. The beef stew is tasty but lack of meat is pathetic for the cost. Which I can’t understand since stew beef is not that expensive. So things like summer chicken salad is always good. Salads are decent but could use a change of selection.Perhaps it’s the sheer volume of food being cooked or huge selection that is causing the quality to go downhill or hard to find kitchen staff but think they need to re-visit recipe’s that work with current customer base and improve the quality they used to have.

Love the salads and chicken soup. However, the meals have been a disappointment lately. For example, I purchased scallops with tomatoes, pesto and couscuos for $29.99. The scallops were good but pepper was the over riding flavor. I wasn't looking for heat in this dish. This happened with a different dish as well, too much heat although not rated spicy. I don't buy the meals anymore. I know some people love the meatballs, the frozen pasta is a safe bet and the lemon cookies are wonderful. Skip the chocolate chip ones, nearly flavorless. Giving 3 stars for the salads and soup.

Food was overpriced for it being Frozen. The food you get there other than salads, dressings, bread, and deserts are all Frozen foods. Tge dressings are very over-priced. It did not meet the HYPE.

Each selection is better than the last one making decisions difficult. Only multiple visits can determine which dish is better. I'm planning on at least once a week.

Incredibly efficient, remarkably good food served in portions for two. Then easy to cook, with good instructions. We eat Pasta Vita for dinner every night. The staff are friendly and accomadating.

Being from Charleston,SC and all the hype about their so called oustanding Culinary Restaurants this place has surpassed them by far w/ their "real" authentic Italian catered home cooked meals & Excellent customer service.
