This was the most bizarre pizza ordering experience I’ve ever had.I had to repeat my address and credit card information 3 times (which made me nervous), and when the pizza was finally delivered, it was a van full of 5 people. One person came to the door and when I went to tip and sign they said, “No, no, no tip!” and took the receipt back and ran back to the car and sped away. The receipt they provided is below. No restaurant name, no prices, and it says “KOT” at the top. No idea what that means.I immediately called the restaurant and asked for a manager. When I questioned why the receipt and pizza box no longer said, “Apizza Express” they said “just ignore it”…? And when I told them about the delivery experience, the manager said “sorry.”The pizza was completely different quality than it was the last three times we ordered (in the last two months- since it switched from Abates), and we couldn’t even eat it this time.I was adamant about my concerns that the van full of 5 people now has my receipt where they can write in their own tip, and the manager said there was nothing she could do about it.The whole process and experience was concerning - like, people stealing your identity and credit card information concerning.Be cautious, it’s certainly no Abates.

Driving back home to NY, we decided to eat New Haven Style pizza and ate at Apizza Express, the cook seemed to be working there for 10+ years, and promised us a great grandma pizza, we took our chances, and he delivered on his promise. Would love to have some speed. We often try different pizzerias on our drive back, this guy's grandma was the best in a very very long time.

While they are usually so good I ordered delivery yesterday for wings & pizza and my pizza was extremely greasy, saturated to the point it wasn’t even eaten in my house. The grease was dripping everywhere, I know pizza’s can be greasy but this one was the most oily I ever had in my life. Not even tapping it with a napkin could save it. I called to let them know and they did nothing they wanted me to bring the pizza in, I ordered delivery for a reason because I can’t drive so waste of $40 prob won’t order again b/c they did nothing to fix it

I took my son and his friend there for a bite to eat after a few hours at Urban Air. The waitress was very patient while we figured out if we wanted slices or a pie. The crust is crisp with a small amount of crust.

Pizza was fantastic! Got the extra large bacon and we loved it. Got a garden salad but it needed some iceberg lettuce and more romaine hearts...maybe some croutons? But overall it was very good. Will definitely order again.

Is this place closed for business? It was reccomended by hotel staff, but no answer on the phone, so after several attempts, I drove there...and it looks closed, but no note or sign or anything. They really should remove their listing if they are no longer in business. Left scrambling for a dinner plan which made for unhappy kids.

I went here with a couple friends and the pizza’s really good we all loved it! And the sweet spicy wings were really delicious! The staff was very friendly. Definitely will be my new go to spot for pizza.

Move over abates, you have competition. Went with my wife to eat a large half pepperoni with some garlic knots. The pizza was one of the best. Thank you danzel and big j who gave me exceptional service. Two thumbs up ??
