Great food! Great service! I highly recommend eating here.
King crab legs were very fishy tasting. The drawn butter tasted funny (maybe it was margarine??) The corn and potatoes were good though. We were not impressed and won’t be back especially for the price! Service was fine.

I've come to the unfortunate conclusion that the lunch menu pricing at this establishment is extremely misleading. During my latest experience, I brought up the issue with the server, who promptly summoned the manager. It struck me as odd that the server couldn't address the matter herself. It became apparent that the lunch menu scam has been persisting for quite some time. If it was not a scam why not explain, simply because it happens frequently (scam)As someone who visits this place for their seafood frequently, I'm disappointed to say I will no longer be a customer. The deception surrounding the $10 menu is unacceptable. Save your hard-earned money and seek dining options elsewhere, or better yet, consider cooking at home for a more satisfying and transparent experience.

1st time at Hook and Reel! DELICIOUS!!! I could barely eat it all, so much food!! I had the crab cluster with shrimp and scallops and the Hook and Reel sauce. It was a combo of Old Bay, Cajun seasoning, lemon Pepper and lemon butter sauces. Yummy!! Our server was great, the host who seated us was friendly and even the guy that brought our food. Notice the picture!!! 1st on list next time I visit CT!!
