“The food was disappointingly bland, lacking any memorable flavors. Surprisingly, the bread was the highlight of the meal, surpassing the main dishes even after I attempted to enhance them with a generous amount of salt. Overall, it was a rather unsatisfactory dining experience.”
“I ordered the Salty turtle cold foam latte, opted in for salted caramel cold foam as they were out of the toffee cold foam ?. Latte was very good, bold and flavorful. Staff was friendly. Small, seated area to sit, inside and out with a few small tables and benches.”
“Great food love the home itslian feeling that cine with the staff and food”
“I was greeted by James within seconds of walking in the door. He was friendly and helpful when I was trying to decide what to order. The food was delicious. I started with the fresh roll that is served with a peanut dipping sauce. Veggies were crunchy and the sauce was thick and clung to my roll. For my main I had the Pad Thai with chicken (spice level 3). I'm over-using this word, but, delicious ?. The chicken was tender and the spice was perfect for me. (A little zing but you can still taste the food). The noodles twisted right onto my fork and no oily flavor that you get with some pad thais.I will be back on our next trip to Rocky Hill CT to try something else.Thank you James and the Banana Leaf for a wonderful lunch. (And supper as I have leftovers ?)”
“*5/5 Stars*"Wow, what an absolute steakhouse gem! We stopped by Carbones Prime tonight and were blown away by the quality of their 28-day dry-aged ribeye. The steak was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful char on the outside and a tender, juicy interior. The dry-aging process really made the flavors pop - it was like a symphony of beefy goodness on my palate! The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a classic diner vibe that felt both nostalgic and modern at the same time. But the real star of the show was that incredible ribeye. I've had my fair share of steaks at fancy restaurants, but this one truly stood out. The 28-day dry-aging process is clearly a labor of love for the chefs here, and it shows in every bite.If you're a steak lover like me, do yourself a favor and get to Carbones Prime in Rocky Hill ASAP. Order the 28-day dry-aged ribeye, and thank me later!"”
“The BEST veggie pizza I've ever had!
Great balance, not too much of any one thing. Every other pizza I've had at Pete's is top drawer (oven) too. Prices are totally fair, generous toppings.
If you haven't tried it, you need to! (except Tuesday's - have to muddle thru)”
“LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Pizza (bacon and tomato is to die for) and grinders are soooo good. I go out of my way for this hidden gem.”
“Best Dosa place in Connecticut. It was my first time, but everything was on point. Ill be coming back soon!”
“thank you so much for the beautiful cake you made for my daughters gender reveal. It was the hit of the party. The question mark cake came out absolutely amazing and the taste was out of this world! Everything was beautiful. The decorations on top omg!! The guests just couldnt get enough of it. Everyone was taking pictures of it. Some said that they never saw cake like that before. I really appreciate you and your talent. I will definitely be coming to you when we are ready for the baby shower.”
