“Smoothies are delicious. One inconsistency is the price. I go there quite frequently in order the same thing and almost every single time. Its a different price point.”
“really good.”
“This was a pleasant surprise. We stopped in for lunch and was delighted with the service and quality of food. Our service was excellent! A manager came by and gave us a free appetizer. General tso cauliflower - wow! It was a nice surprise and it was delicious!!”
“Delicious wings. Regular American fare. But chicken was dry and over cooked. Good selection of beers and cider”
“5/19/24: First time there today, I got something similar that I would get at Baja's, and the portions were decent and the chicken I had was flavorful. I also liked that they offer military discounts. What I didn't like was that their guacamole was out, and the 'queso' was not the queso blanco that I get at other places. And the cold, regular red sauce also didnt have much flavor. The employees there are not as welcoming as Baja's, but granted we went at a busy time. However, Baja's is always extremely busy and they always smile and at least acknowledge you, especially when you have been waiting for a while. I think that's what needs to be done. Ensure customers are at least being acknowledged and greeted.I might try it at least once more to see if my negatives change to positives.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and have high chairs available.”
“Awesome customer service at all times.

Parking: Great location (easy to find)

Kid-friendliness: Yes

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“I always enjoy my bagel and cream cheese, which is fresh and made to order. We do laugh at how long it takes to make a simple toasted bagel compared to other spots, but dont mind the wait. The manager is especially personable and always friendly. Other staff are quiet, but always helpful.”
“Their paninis are soooo good. I had a bit of an issue with my first order, however this is to be excepted with a new restaurant and they took care of it and made a new order for me. The steak and cheese is great as is their new pork bahn mi.”
“Ive frequented Golf Lounge 18 in South Windsor, CT, on multiple occasions and have found it to be a facility that offers both impressive features and areas needing improvement. The ambiance is undoubtedly modern and welcoming, with multiple bays flanked by a well-stocked, stylish bar at the heart of the space. The restaurants menu is diverse, offering a variety of tasty appetizers that Ive consistently enjoyed. One of the standout features of Golf Lounge 18 is its TrackMan system. This technology is a golfers dream, offering a vast selection of courses and engaging arcade-style games, ensuring even the younger guests have something to enjoy. However, my experiences have been marred by inconsistencies in service and pricing concerns that, in my opinion, detract from the overall value. The cost of bay rentals is on the higher side when compared to other similar venues across Connecticut. With such a premium price tag, one might expect a matching level of service, which has unfortunately not been my experience. Service can be sporadic, ranging from infrequent check-ins by the server to occasions where self-service at the bar became necessary.Additionally, the pricing structure requires tips to be based on both the bay rental and any additional food or drink purchases. This can quickly escalate the expected expenditure, especially during peak hours when rates are highest. Promotional offers, like the free simulator time won at a golf show, come with restrictions that are not clearly communicated upfront, further adding to the frustration. On my latest visit, despite arriving early, the transition to our bay was delayed, and our allotted time was strictly enforced, not accounting for the initial delay. Although offered a token for future use, this gesture didnt fully compensate for the lost time or the inconsistency in service. In summary, Golf Lounge 18 presents a facility with the trappings of a premium experience - modern design, excellent food, and cutting-edge technology. Yet, the service inconsistency and pricing model leave room for improvement. While the venue undoubtedly has potential, achieving a balance between the premium cost and the level of service provided is essential for a truly exceptional experience. After giving it multiple tries, I believe the issues noted surpass the expected new establishment challenges.”
