We heard Salty Dog had a new menu, so we stopped by their Plainville location to check it out! We found delicious wings (there were quite the variety of sauces and dry rubs to choose from), and our favorite were the Nashville hot wings! The spinach and artichoke soufflé was a delicious appetizer. Place is really great for food! I had a rueben which had a unique twist to it. Pastrami on whole wheat bread. Even though it wasnt the original it was decent. The pastrami was a bit overdone though. Their seasonal drink was a maple apple sour and it tasted just like apple pie. Perfect portion size. The nachos were also well made with 2 different types of cheeses and they melted fresh shredded cheese on top.

Nice little hidden gem. Located on a main road and there is street parking in front. Menu had quite an offering and something for everyone. The wings and nachos were delicious. The decor was nice and inviting . The bartender Jessica was fabulous, the other girls were friendly as well. They have a pretty good happy house menu so definitely I'll go there again.
