The last time I was in the area I drove over an hour and waited around ten minutes to be able to sit down not only because they were super busy but more importantly because I know their food is so good I would have waited another hour if I had to. The smells alone are enough to drive someone’s brainwaves and tastebuds into a pure bliss that is only obtained by the most amazing of things! The atmosphere was exactly as you would expect for around mid day on a Sunday in one of the greatest spots ever, packed full of happy people and a wait staff that is an absolute pleasure to watch operate. I swear they move like a well oiled machine only way better! I can only imagine how everything looks behind the scene and after experiencing the final products I’m left to believe it’s a display that matches the energy and precision we get to witness out front. My go to has always been a breakfast chimichanga usually with bacon and ham but they do also offer sausage as well. I can not express enough how amazing I find it and the worst part, for me at least, is someone else may think they can make one but I’ve yet to come across anyone who can even come close to the absolute magic that comes out on the plate when you order one from here. My only regret is never giving them a chance when I lived right down the road. Now I am far away and coming here is a rare treat. Don’t be like me. Go there every chance you get. You will not be disappointed

Just paid $15 for a breakfast sandwich with no side. The service was ok. The only reason I didn't broach the subject was because I didn't want to draw attention. In retrospect, I should have, so no other unsuspecting customer would be robbed.
Since moving away from CT, I’ve been missing a classic Diner. Main Street Diner delivered and then some! Despite a smaller interior, with quick service there was no wait on a Sunday morning. We kept taking note how clean everything was as well. The two servers were AMAZING; very attentive and super friendly! Food was excellent and great portions for a very reasonable price! This will be my go to from now on when I’m in town!

We found this place after our first place fell through but honestly we were glad it did. This tiny little dinner is a blast from the past and the food was amazing. The next time you are near Plainville I highly recommend grabbing breakfast or lunch here!

Wow wow wow first of all RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN HERE. This restaurant has a menu with over fifty selections. I had a very satisfying breakfast. My care coordinator ROSEE was an absolute angel. I had an appointment at 10 am in Bristol but noticed the Main St. Diner on my bus. I was glad I stopped there. 10 out of 10 stars in every category. Even the rest room was super clean and well stocked. Good place hands down!
