Food is excellent and genuine, especially the Korean foodThe owners are a sweet old Korean couple who make everything themselves, so service can run a bit slow, but be patient since the food is worth the price.I definitely recommend getting Korean food, not just sushi if you have stomach space!

Delicious sushi with a great variety and full menu. The pieces were massive - four rolls between two people was enough to fill us up. We were provided a pot of smooth green tea upon seating, and the service was warm and homey. What struck us most was how calm and pleasant the environment seemed compared to other restaurants. Despite being a small place, it was active with people picking up and was never empty. Be sure to try the green tea mochi!

I am absolutely in love with this place. It’s a small spot, family owned, and I truly feel at home every time I come. Eating in is worth the experience! You are welcomed with hot tea, and after your meal you are treated to green tea mochi for dessert. The sushi is the freshest I have had around here, and the portions are quite filling. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place-with all my heart. I have gone here multiple times a week sometimes, and it just brings me pure joy.

Sushi red is consistently impressive. We’ve been 4-5 times now and every time the fish is extremely fresh, the rice is so fresh it’s still a little bit warm from the rice cooker. The food is fairly priced, fresh and delicious. All you can want with sushi.The service is timely and welcoming, we absolutely love it here and would recommend it to anyone looking for high quality sushi!

Amazing find right down the street from my job in the plainville/southington area! I was kindly greeted by the owner as I was picking up my food to-go. Clean atmosphere and very friendly staff! Must try their spicy rolls, they give a great kick! Very fresh and highly recommend. Glad I found this hidden gem. Will be back to try more of their traditional Korean dishes and sushi of course!

Kid and I went here. And honestly I can Mediocre as best. They looked at me completely confused when asking for soy paper. The wrapping of the rolls was loose and honestly not impressed. Honestly I will probably not go back. Plenty of other places to get my sushi on at.

My favorite place in CT!!!!! So fresh and delicious! The spicy salmon roll doesn’t have the crunchies it’s clumps of salmon and actually spicy! Top quality. I also love the American roll. I love all their rolls!

As everyone says, don't let the outside deter you. I don't think you can get this quality of sushi for this price anywhere else in Connecticut. The couple who runs this restaurant were very nice. Well worth the 45 minute drive for me.
