So festive and cheerful!Delicious margaritas and full classic menu. Comfortable and relaxing ambiance, we had a blast on Cinco De Mayo, complete with swag and favors.Parking: Plenty of free street parking in the adorable and scenic historic area, surrounded by charming and walkable restaurant varietyKid-friendliness: Very friendly and kid welcoming.

This place has a nice warm feeling to it. The staff is super friendly and the owner is very engaging and always jokes with the customers. They feature authentic Mexican food and all the Americanized favorites as well. I have been here several times, the most recess a week ago for a family dinner with my in-laws. The pollo loco was delicious (I only with there was more of it for the price. Will be back and would recommend this place.

Been here a few times. The beef fajita is tasty. I had leftovers and it tasted even better the next day. My mocktail was excellent. Recommend ordering an appetizer to pass time until the entrees come out.

The restaurant itself is cute but the food is awful. Flour tortillas cold on the Taco platter, rice is bland and the margaritas aren’t good.

I have gone to rancho alegre since I was a child. I heard they changed ownership but it was still just as good as always. We had a party of 10 reserved on friday, and were kindly waited on the whole evening. We stayed after closing time chatting, and the owner was funny and made jokes with our group. The food was all fresh and delicious. It's a quaint restaurant and a mainstay in Georgetown, I will always love rancho alegre!

Love the place, very cute in a very quaint section of Georgetown. Chimichangas were good. Nice happy hour menu. Staff and owner are very nice.

Food and drinks were lacking for how expensive they were. For example, sour cream and salsa that came with quesadillas and nachos was only a small smear.

Georgetown mainstay, or at least that is what a 20 year veteran told us. Apparently under new ownership but the staff and quality of the food are on point. We've been back twice and have really enjoyed everything from the shrimp flautas to the steak fajitas. The kids have tried the burritos and enchiladas and so far we haven't been disappointed. The staff is so warm and inviting. They are very attentive and friendly.Highly recommend a visit whether passing through or if you live in the area.
