I will not be eating here again - our server had a very negative attitude, we could hardly hear ourselves talk for the volume in the room and the food was sadly lacking in taste and presentation. The sea bass, usually a succulent and flavorful fish, was over cooked and tough. It was completely hidden beneath a pile of crispy fried spinach ( on its own an interesting concept) making the meal look unappetizing before I had even started eating. We opted out of ordering a dessert getting more ‘attitude’ from our server. If it hadn’t been for the good company I was in I would have left the restaurant earlier.

We had high hopes for this place. Pros: Friendly staff, warm atmosphere. Cons: Sticky table, and unfortunately mediocre food so the value/cost ratio just didn’t cut it. Afogado for desert was delicious, but unfortunately that was about it. Pass. We’ll try again in a few months. Hopefully it was an off night.

It's hard to find a dish that is not over sauced or overly rich. The place has a nice vibe and the service is good. With some minor adjustments, this place could be a winner.

The food was alright but the service is terrible the woman was talking sarcastically to me and my husband (we are 71 year’s old) treated us like we knew nothing and said that we don’t know how to order an on top of it all we gave a 40 dollar tip never coming back here scared for life. Dont come just to be treaded like

The new renovations are BEAUTIFUL! Outdoor patio is perfect for summertime, staff is always so welcoming + knowledgable and the food will literally transport you to Italy

Every aspect of this dinner was disappointing, We were seated promptly but the first thing I noticed was that the table was sticky. Yes, it was a hot night out, but then they should have had the A/C on (which they didnt). First, when they gave us the cocktail menu, they only had one...in the entire restaurant. How is it possible to have only one cocktail menu for an entire restaurant?!?! Four people- we ordered a cocktail. Two special martinis, one regular martini and pinot grigio. The only reason we ordered the special martinis is because they were supposed to come with gorgonzola stuffed olives. Not only did the martinis all come out in different glasses (because they had run out) but we didn't get the olives we wanted. When we asked for them, the hostess brought us two, on a napkin, and said those were the last two in the entire place. I will also mention that they used WAY too much vermouth. The white bean crostini was fine. Nothing special but fine. The Sicilian Tuna however was literally a can of tuna fish (dry) on a piece of bread. The margherita flatbread was fine. The veal Milanese flatbread was fine (although we really had to search for any veal) and the sweet fig flatbread was also fine. The garlic fried broccoli was not 'fried' at all but was steamed. There appeared to be a lot of staff (at least 7-8 that we counted) and they all seemed to be running around but we couldn't tell what they were actually doing. Service was very slow and inattentive. Bottom line- I wouldn't say it was "bad" because nothing was spoiled and everything was edible. But it was far from "good" or even "acceptable." Very disappointing for what we were hoping would be a nice night out. Definitely no reason to go there (and given what we saw, i wouldn't be surprised it they are out of business soon anyway). Too many other good options.

Just had dinner at this very nice restaurant. Food was excellent. Our server was a very nice young lady who was able to answer all our questions Was very impressed with the dining experience. Relaxed and quiet. I had the carbonara and my husband had the bolognese both were very good We will definitely be back to try the other menu items

Nice place, charming, good food, friendly people. I was debating how many stars it deserves and I landed at 3 without meaning to make it look bad. You know how a 3-star hotel can be really nice without being special? That’s how I feel about Bartolo. Appetizers (crostini) not worth the effort, pasta dishes good- be aware that they take the “Al dente” very serious. Too serious for my taste. Service super nice but not the right flow- it all takes way too long. Desserts were for sure the highlight even though the lava cake was a chocolate cake with no lava. But again.. solid, nice and friendly neighborhood restaurant. Perfect for a weekday night meal.

Such a wonderful lunch dinning out with my husband on the outside patio of Bartolo this glorious Memorial Day weekend!! The food was amazing.. We started off with a delicious flat bread tomato topped pizza, and then our entree fettuccine carbonara (absolutely delicious), along with a mouth watering pork chop with creamy mashed potatoes and by far the best broccoli I have ever had!!! My husband also had a glass of Duck Horn wine which paired with the meal fabulously!! Great staff, service, food and conversation nothing better than that!!!
