What a great addition to the Ridgefield restaurant scene. And finally, a place that's not ridiculously overpriced. Loved the food, the atmosphere, and the diversity on the menu. Service... meh. After cocktails, no one asked for other drinks. Last hour, no water. Overall, almost 3 hours for a dinner. And when we left, our server said goodbye without even looking up. But hey, that's just one person and everything else was stellar. Absolutely returning!

Upon entering Brasserie Saint Germain, we were greeted by an inviting atmosphere that exuded elegance and warmth. The ambiance effortlessly blended French charm with modern sophistication, setting the stage for a memorable evening. Our culinary journey commenced with a tempting array of pre-dinner cocktails, each crafted with precision and a French twist on creativity. From French Gimlet to an innovative Manhattan, every sip was a chilled symphony of flavors that hinted at the culinary delights yet to come. For a starter, we had the lobster bisque, a quintessential French delicacy that surpassed all expectations. Velvety smooth and rich in flavor, it was a testament to the chef's expertise. Each spoonful offered a burst of oceanic essence, leaving us craving for more. For our main courses, we indulged in the classic Les Moules Frites, mussels bathed in a delicious broth that transported our taste buds to the shores of France. The mussels were impeccably cooked, tender yet flavorful, while the broth was a harmonious blend of aromatic herbs, with a touch of cream. The accompanying fries are crisp and delicious. The veal chop with peppercorn sauce was a true masterpiece. The veal, cooked to perfection, was tender and succulent, while the peppercorn sauce added a delightful hint of spice that complemented the meat beautifully. To conclude our meal, we savored two dessert offerings paired with freshly brewed espresso. Each dessert perfectly balances sweetness and sophistication, from decadent chocolate mousse to delicate fruit tart. Throughout our dining experience, the service at Brasserie Saint Germain was exemplary, with attentive staff catering to our every need with grace and professionalism. Attention to detail and commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience were evident in every aspect of our visit.

Traditional French brasserie menu. High quality ingredients. Tasty yet traditionally simple lunch menu. Mom said muscles were best she ever had. They were great about customizing my crepe which was delicious. Wish the salads were dressed a bit more but I think that is traditional. Waiter was awesome...not in your face but always there when you wanted anything.

Decided to try this place based on its reviews and being close to our show at Ridgefield playhouse. First off it is a beautiful restaurant, especially the back area tables and the service was exemplary. The drinks and food were great with moderate and appropriate prices. The escargot and crepes were very good, but the foie gras terrine with their rec'd muscato was pure bliss. We will definitely be going back when in the area BSG. Merci beaucoup!!

Typical Brasserie ambiance supported the overall experience. Overall service was outstanding and the food was beautifully prepared and presented and was delicious. Not a single morsel was left on any of the 4 starters or our main courses. Price point was appropriate for the quality and portion. Absolutely great evening and we will definitely be back.

This spot used to house a sushi restaurant which we loved...one day we stopped by and found Brasserie St Germain in its place so gave it a try. We had been to the crepe restaurant across town when they were there so we're glad they reinvented themselves in this location. It's like being in France, complete with delicious crepes and steak tartare. It's become a favorite again...

We ate at the bar. It was comfortable, the food was excellent and served at a nice pace, and the bartender was charming. We enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning for another meal.

Excellent! We love this hidden gem off main Street on the back side of the building. The atmosphereis really nice as well as the decor & the service is friendly knowledgeable & professional. They have an awesome bar and drink menu and a well curated wine list. The menu has everything you would expect at a brasserie I have visited several times for lunch dinner and a quick bite and always delicious. The seafood is really fresh and the raw bar is out on display. Worth a visit & you will want to go back again. The vol au vent was amazing, oysters Rockefeller were so good I recommend the Duck cassoulet if it's on the menu. And finish your meal with pastis aperitif.

Our second time dining at Brassiere Saint Germain and we'll be back again. Having been to Saint Germain en-Laye many times, we can attest to the offerings and quality reminding us of France. The Crepe aux Fruits de Mer was really good, the Boeuf Bourguignon, excellent. All in all, a nice menu, delicious food (compliments to the chef!), fine hand-crafted cocktails (great bartender!), delectable desserts, and friendly service. Frank kindly checks in with the patrons, makes perfect suggestions if asked, and keeps everything running smoothly. So glad he opened this restaurant in Ridgefield!

We are thrilled to have another genuine French restaurant in Ridgefield! When we learned about you opening we rushed to stop by for a glass of wine to check it out and loved it! We've had a lunch and dinner there in the last two weeks and love that you take reservations for both- even for two!

We have been to this restaurant several times. We are foodies and my husband usually prefers to eat at home. We have ordered many things on the menu and have loved everything we ordered. It is the first restaurant my husband thinks of locally. Tha ambience is sophisticated but cozy and welcoming. There are several seating options. And the waitstaff is amazing. Sia waited on us last night and she was warm, enthusiastic, gave great recommendations and insisted that everything be perfect.
