Our first time here. Called in advance because we were all dressed casual.From the gentleman on the phone, to the waitress and bartender, first class establishment. Food was fantastic, and reasonably priced. Our waitress was fun, welcoming and on her game.Just a good all around atmosphere. Well done. Coming back for sure.Highly recommend

The food was delicious I had a chicken Caesar wrap with sweat potato fries and it was awesome. The fries were crispy and good.The service was excellent the waiter was very nice and quick.The Atmosphere was cool it had a nice old and country vibe.

My husband and I have been frequent customers for many years, we have had numerous bad experiences over the past three years with one bartender. She makes us feel uncomfortable and to be honest ~ we love the rest of the staff. One particular bartender needs to be spoken to and/or become more customer friendly because we are not the first couple (regulars in this establishment) to have an issue with the inconsiderate and hostile manner which she represents toward your customers. As of today, we will unfortunately miss the hard working staff and great food ~ until this bartender has changed her attitude toward patrons of the Red Rooster in Ridgefield; we will not be frequenting this restaurant any time soon.

WarningThis place has the potential to be good. However, they use cheap ingredients that diminish the value of their dishes. Example the pretzel. The pretzel itself it good. However, they use a cheap cheese sauce that sucks. Someone should invest them for ripping off their customers. The menu says 'an automatic 20% tip will be added for parties 6 or more'. However, we were a party of 5 and they charged the automatic 20%. When we asked the server why we were charged? She responded by saying 'we always do that for parties of 5 or more'. In addition, the bill had an open spot for a tip and a suggested table starting at 18% to 22%. If I did not carefully read the bill, I would have double tipped her. This is very sneaky and unethical!!!

Food is eh, meh, ok but let's talk prices as they relate to what they are offering, and the survey says are abso-fucking-loutly overpriced. Get over yourself you have nothing in terms of a vibe, culture or cache.Rather then say skip it, I think the owner should rethink who they are and why they are in the space.Where is your value? What are you offering to whom and why?

The four of us had a very enjoyable time eating on the porch with outstanding service. Our server clearly was a professional. The fried cheese curds & calamari apps were excellent. I loved my French dip sandwich . Highly recommended.
I grew up in Ridgefield and at the time this place didn't even exist. It's been many years since I set foot in my hometown! When I came back to Connecticut to visit my Brother with my parents, we decided to have lunch in Ridgefield to relive our roots and share memories! My brother chose this place that wasn't around when we lived in Ridgefield! It was a very friendly Atmosphere!

I ordered their calamari and their red wings for takeout. It was my first time ever trying them before the wings were excellent and the calamari was spectacular. Definitely looking forward to doing a dine in meal. See I love.

Excellent food and reliable service. We enjoy sitting in the booths in the bar area where it’s nice and bright. Recent price increases on the menu are a drawback.

Good atmosphere and lovely hostess and servers- food was barely average. We ordered some apps and a caramelized onion, pair pizza. The wrong pizza was delivered to us and when the finally came back they took the pizza and gave it to someone else, and took his pizza and gave it to us. The pizza was terrible, we didn't find one piece of onion on the pie and and it was so salty we couldn't eat it. The bathrooms were disgusting and had no paper towels. I certainly won't be wasting my money there ever again.
