Highly recommended made Christmas dinner so easy. meat cuts outstanding, lobster tails were so fresh. Everyone loved the sides dishes too. Staff was wonderful when picking up on a busy Christmas Eve. Eddie was wonderful helping me plan Christmas dinner.

I ordered a fresh Turkey, I was charged $116 for the 16lb Turkey. Got home to find out the whole inside was frozen. I could have gone to grocery store for the same thing and saved myself around $80. Look elsewhere when it comes to poultry atleast.

We have catered from Ridgefield Prime for the last two to three years (skipping 2020) for our annual Halloween party. Eddie is wonderful to work with and makes the process easy. The food, especially the ribs, were great!

Looking for catering? Look no further! Eddie & his team at Ridgefield Prime went above and beyond to make sure our Wedding was amazing. Eddie made sure every part of our day was stress free. He met with us every step of the way to discuss food, staffing and all the details. Our event was not your typical wedding and he helped make our dream a reality by creating a cocktail style event that our guest are still talking about! Food was spectacular and the staff are well trained & hard working. We are so thankful for the team and would absolutely recommend them for your next event or just a stop in the shop for some amazing fresh meat, seafood and more!

Best butcher shop in Connecticut! If you are planning a special occasion, there is great variety and Prime's friendly staff can guide you in your selection. I am not a good cook but they provide helpful tips on how to cook steak, etc. I also like that they have pre-made items, helping reduce the weekday grind. If you have the same cut from here and Stop&Shop, you can taste the difference. 5 stars for Prime Butcher Shop.

I love this place. I never had a bad piece of meat from the place! The staff is very friendly and always greets you when you enter. I love the bone-in ribeye!

What an amazing experience. The owner always says hello, and today I received amazing customer care.I had purchased some Littlenecks, half of which didn’t open. I very polite mentioned this, as I have never had it happen. Long story short, he was so kind and didn’t let me pay for one thing I purchased today, even when I insisted!Old fashioned service…

One of the remaining quality butcher shops. Good selection. Good service. A worthy addition to the local shopping options.

Can someone tell me what happened to the butchers that used to work at Ridgefield Prime? When they worked there they would greet me by my name (since I went so often) and the environment was very friendly and it felt like a community. The beef, poultry, and fish are still top notch and the place looks great but Now I walk in, no one speaks, the butchers are rude and the customer service has completely changed . It’s not absent, it’s just different and not in a good way. what a shame..

I think that they don't respect their customers. Prime is their name, prime are their prices, but sub-prime are their products. I recently purchased chicken cutletsbut when I went to cook them found mis is-sharpen mangy pieces. Yesterday, I purchased mussels. Surprised that they weren't on ice, Looked good but when I went to cook them, found many with broken shells. And they were old , dried out, and tiny inside. Their business model of having high school kids instead of professional may be part of the problem.. but their product needs to be elevated. Whole Foods or Caraluzzi is a better choice.

A worthy splurge -- destination butcher shop. A little tricky to find, located in a group of strip malls outside the town center. The highlight for us was two American wagyu ribeyes - pricey, but among the best examples of this product I have tried. In many ways, these were more enjoyable than A5 Wagyu - about as fatty as you would want your beef. Having blown the budget on the wagyu, we went to the less expensive side of the counter for our other proteins, picking up some tasty chicken sausages and some fine ground beef. We enjoyed a nice piece of salmon from the fish market, as well as two stuffies. These were very good. On the way out, grabbed a little Solo cup of their seasoned salt, which will enhance any steak.
