I first discovered baker/owner Lolly's cakes in North Salem at The Market at Union Hall and fell in love!! Her chocolate-on-chocolate cake and vanilla buttercream cake are my weekly indulgences... I crave them and get so excited to go there for a cappuccino and a cake. I shared them with my fam and they're all obsessed now, too. Her carrot cake is also the best carrot cake I've had, but I'm such a chocolate fiend, and those two chocolate cakes are the best chocolate cakes I've had. Now we have our go to birthday/holiday cakes. Thank you, Lolly! 5 stars!!!!

Had one of their Sloppy Joe pasties for dinner. Picked it up at the Bethel Farmers market. Topped it with my home smoked pepper jack cheese....delish!!!!!!!Keep up the good work

Had had their pies from the farmer's market. They seemed to have raised price on the lemon-- I believe since egg cost has gone up. Pie was very tasty though - reminded me of key lime pie. The chocolate truffle pie was also delicious, though very rich. Didn't flip over the berry pie. Slice of the lemon cake was much too expensive for portion and only tasted okay. They do make a very good chocolate cake with white buttercream frosting. It's expensive but there really aren't any/many good bakeries around here. Always seems to be one of the busiest stands.
Whistle Stop Bakery is not just for pies. I recently ordered cupcakes for an event. Fresh & delicious especially the chocolate cupcakes were so rich & yummy. Highly recommend the bakery.
