This used to be Anna's place. New owners bigger in Oct 23. Freshened the place up. First thing to know, it is small! Full bar but not extensive selections. No kitchen but there is some place you can order food from that gets delivered every 30 minutes, but it wasn't really promoted. The bartender was nice but not really going out of her way to help you with selecting a beer or drink. Some sort of bar menu would've been nice. If you are a UConn fan this is a good place to watch a game and have drinks just don't plan on eating.

I drive a considerable distance just to come visit Bobbi the bartender. She’s the best around! Funny, fast, excellent. It’s also hard to find such a welcoming fun crowd and cheap drinks anywhere else. The new owners are regularly around and you won’t have to look hard because they’ll greet you with a smile. Great guys. Can’t say enough great things about this great place. Only thing that would make it better is if they had a karaoke night!!!!
Minor Disruption
I literally broke my ankle on the front step!!!! I was inebriated, but absolutely no one was any help in the situation, AND THE BARTENDER CHARGED $20 TIP ON MY CARD, AND WE ONLY HAD TWO DRINKS. WE DIDNT EVEN GET TO FINISH THEM. WILL NEVER BE BACK. WOW.

Double J’s is my all time favorite neighborhood bar! The new owners have given the place a beautiful face lift (equipped with a huge TV for all your sports viewing desires) but have kept the friendly and inviting feel. Not to mention, the cheapest drinks in town with great weekly happy hours.

Had such a fun time here for football Sunday! No better way to watch your team then on an 85 inch screen! Great bartenders and really friendly bar-goers. Definitely will be back!
