Excellent food, best I've ever had. The service is declining, my family will order online and ask me to pick up on way home from work. They screw up our order 30% of the time. I am weary on my way home, don't feel like calling family to get what's in the order, then opening each wrapped sandwich to verify - shouldn't have to. The employee attitude is very unprofessional, they seem to only care about conversations amongst them selves and loud music. I have never seen anyone working, who appears to be a manager, or even trying to instill professionalism amongst the team. Told my family to find new burger place.

We visited this location on Saturday 4/6, and it was horrible! There was a line out the door, and only three people behind the counter. The cashier kept getting frustrated with the customers and the staff member cooking the burgers, who must’ve been the manager. We were in line for approximately 25 minutes before placing our order and then waited an additional 35 minutes or more to get our order. Our order was simple. We ordered two burgers and a small fry to share. Why did we wait that long for burgers? We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because we get it. We understood they were busy and shortstaffed. The restaurant was dirty, the bathroom was disgusting. The soap dispensers were hanging halfway off the wall. We seen that after placing our order and paying. Too late to back out and afraid of what we’d hear if asked about a refund. The cashier kept forgetting what the code was to the cash register, and with each time she asked, the, “grill, chef” shouted the pin, and told the cashier to “write it down”. When the cashier asked one last time, he shouted the PIN number louder and the whole restaurant heard it. It was clear that all three of the employees were frustrated and disgusted with each other..I had been looking forward to dinner all day. After what we were served last night, we will NEVER visit this location again. Greasy, salty, disgusting!!! Twenty Four hours latter, we’re both still sick to our stomach!

Burger was very good, as expected. However, the fries were a bit too salty for my taste but very addictive.

Stopped in for a quick bite, and we decide to eat in. The seating area needed refreshing. Bathrooms were clean. Per usual, burgers and fries were great. However, they botched my hubby's order but graciously prepared another. Expectant price and staff was good.

If I spend $8 on a milkshake it should be full. May not look like a bid deal but given how volume works with these cups, it works out to be like 25% missing or something. Ridiculous.

They messed up our order twice in a row. It seems like the employees don't want people coming

We stopped at the Shelton, CT FIVE guys last night after a high school football game! What a shame, from the moment we walked in the door to the minute we walked out. 1st, they tried to give us a burger that had been sitting on a spatula (we saw when we walked in) they put it back on the grill and put cheese on top. When questioned about it the response we got was, huh? Then we ordered a shake, the cup wasn’t even 1/2 full, when questioned about that we were told “we are out of shake cups, this is what you get” $7 for a 1/2 cup….. seems odd but ok! Then we ask to speak to the manager on duty. The kid working with us kept looking into the back, then says how about you come back another time. We said, we would l like to speak to someone now. So then Nick (the manager) came out. Didn’t really seem to care about any of our concerns, stated “sorry you feel that way”. We have been to MANY FIVE guys, this place was truly a disaster!

I have no idea if it’s bad luck but I consistently get undercooked fries at this location. They’re more yellow than golden brown. I really wish they’d get better at this because it’s my local Five Guys, and I feel compelled to avoid it due to this. Rest of the place is on par with other Five Guys locations, these folks work hard and turn out a mean burger.

Probably the best place on this street. The burger here is way better than the restaurant next to it. Fresh meat and an abundance of fries really puts perspective on a perfect burger meal. Better than Wayback and definitely in the league of their

I gotta say…The Five Guys here used to be amazing. The staff before were so nice making it feel like you were their family,The food was always top notch with my food almost all the time coming out right and so fulfilling,The place looked quite clean too,It was just amazing to eat here before…Now this place is just a terrible remnant of what it once was…Most of the staff are very rude, some of them don’t even know what they are doing or they want you to screw off. This happens all the time to every single time I was ordering food, to whenever I wait for a staff member to come to take my order, or when I ask for something. They look at me dead in the eyes and look always so pissed that I called for them. Then the managers that are there are almost always so uncooperative…There’s one that is always so serious and cold towards anyone,Then there’s one that just does whatever he wants and does nothing to help the problem. There was one time I just wanted to get a bag for some peanuts bc my family loves to eat quite a lot of them and the little bowls for the peanuts are just too small so I thought I could just ask a bag. When I did, the manager who was there looked at with me with such a cold gaze and said in the rudest way to me"Sorry, We don’t give bags for peanuts anymore bc there are SOME people who takes too much peanuts which leads to us having too few peanuts for other customers"I would’ve been fine if they just told me like they are having a shortage on peanuts, which I would have believed. If it wasn’t the fact they always have 3-4 huge bags of peanuts that are always there at entrance of the restaurant. Not only that but he looked at me like I was asking for him to do a crime, it made me never want to ask something from the staff or managers ever again. The food is pretty good and quite cheap.Like the burgers are always pretty fulfilling and super delicious but the fries here are ALWAYS undercooked.Don’t bother trying to tell them that it is bc they won’t care. Then trying to tell them that they got your order wrong, they won’t care.I tried and they’ll just half remake your order with no discount or some kind of compensation. With the place also looking quite dirty with the kitchen as well looking just as dirty sometimes, I lost all my respect for this Five Guys location.I used to eat here all the time but they changed for the worst out of no where…Im sorry but until they change their staff or they fix their act up.I can’t recommend anyone to coming here…If you’re desperate for something to eat then yeah, you can come here but don’t expect to get treated nicely at all. You’ll have better food service elsewhere.

Good food; a little bit of sticker shock at the lights prices. I'm used to much lower prices. Including a few pics to show the prices for others who may be traveling to the area.Employees were very courteous and helpful. Food is consistent, no matter what location you choose.

Have to say the food is good for fast food. The music in the place was blasting super loud. And the service not so great. But, except for one thing, I might go back. 22.00 dollars for a burger, small fry and large drink is, for fast food, absolutely outrageous. Sorry Five Guys but the price has got to be reduced.
