This place was absolutely amazing. I ordered the jerk chicken with jollof rice and it was so delicious. My friends ordered the goat egusi with fufu and said it was also so good. Our waitress even taught them how to eat it because they never had it before and she was so nice in general. I highly recommend this place for the delicious food and quality service!

Honestly was not worth the 30 minute travel. It wasn’t good at all and the portions are TINY. The sauce was NOT even filled halfway. Also wayyyy too pricey for no reason. I personally wouldn’t go back

LISTEN!!! This is some of the best Nigerian food I’ve ever eaten. The egsui is not salty. Nice and balanced. The beef suya nicely spiced. I’ll be back!! I’ve had Nigerian food in the past and it’s nothing like this. 10/10.

This is a great little restaurant in Downtown Shelton. We stopped in for lunch and ordered two appetizers, beef suya and samosas, and a main dish, gbegiri Ewedu. The suya had a nice level of spice and was served with onion slices. The combination was a nice bite. The samosas were served hot with the heritage sauce they made themselves. The gbegiri Ewedu is normally served with tripe, but we asked to substitute curried goat which is an option. The meat is served on a bean porridge and meant to be eaten with your hands. We opted for spoons and found it to be tasty. The service was friendly and accommodating.Parking in downtown Shelton can be tricky but we found a free, public parking lot down at the bottom of the side street near the restaurant. The restaurant sells their heritage sauce in squeeze bottles so we added one to our order to take home. It's great on sandwiches.

Drove from New York to Connecticut to try them and they definitely did not disappoint. From when we first came in the vibes is on point. Everyone was super friendly and answered any questions we had. Food is amazing, we’ve tried the spring rolls, beef suya, jallof, fish, egusi with pounded yam, and puff puff. we have been back since then and they are always consistent with everything from service to food. They are definitely one of the best places I’ve had Nigerian food. The meat they serve is always tender. I’m excited to try out everything else they have.

Excellent!!! In town for work, I went there on Sunday... Being a foodie, and seeing the dining area was full, on a cold rainy day and every one look very please.. I just knew the food was gonna be good... 1st the Customer service was excellent, the two young ladies were fast and friendly. 2nd the Food... Oh my... WHEN I SAY PERFECT!!! I purchase stew with turkey, suya, and Spinach soup with pounded yam... I travel for work, have eating Nigerian food all over the US... HANDS DOWN, THIS GEM PLACE IS ONE OF THE BEST! Definitely... I will go back before I leave town

I was so grateful to find a Nigerian restaurant with 20 minutes of my new home in Connecticut after years of many, many options in New York.I have only one complaint about the food - too much oil and sometimes salt. I've had to tip my bowl of soup to drain the palm oil off. Please ease up on the oil. Nobody wants their cholesterol raised up, please, and thank you.
