“I really cannot find the right words to describe the experience you will have when you dine at this gem of a place. It is our "go to" when we want a very memorable evening. From the minute you walk in the door you will be treated like you are the most special couple in the room. Every person that works there goes above and beyond. You almost feel like you are in Europe at a little bistro. And to think it is right here in the lovely little town of Tariffville. Thank you for the wonderful memory you help create.”

“So, I came here for Brunch. We had to wait 1/2 hour to be seated. That's generally a good sign. The presentation of the food is very good. Some of the plates I saw are something to behold. The popovers look insaneI ordered the corn beef hash. I ordered it well done. It took longer than expected and came out completely dry and basically inedible. I flagged down a waitress ( turned out to be the owner ) and she was genuinely concerned that I received my food that way. Well, new plate, right away. She checked on me multiple times. As a business owner myself I totally appreciated the extra effort. My critiques: The service could be faster, but it's not horrible. The food is Fresh and the presentation is very good. The coffee is excellent and they have some excellent healthier options with good flavor ( I especially enjoyed the CHIA PUDDING and the smashed avocado ? So far, I give it a strong recommendation and I will be back to update after I try a few more items.”

“It's a great Little pizza place. We have gotten afew different pizzas and different grinders from them and they're always delicious. The owner has always been very friendly and stayed after hours when my wife left her purse there. You don't see great customer service and great food in the same place very often! Thank you very much.”

“Went to Metro Bis for the first time (but have been a LONG time fan of Chef Chris!) this weekend. We were looking for somewhere special for lunch for my son's 21st birthday. This fit the bill and was perfect! It was a reasonable set price ($30) for 2 courses (lunch main and a dessert or salad/soup) and tons of amazing choices. You pay a little extra for appetizers and for drinks, of course. All 5 of us got something different for mains from a beefy eggplant parm to flat iron steak to crab cakes to a burger to short rib sandwich. They were ALL amazing. The quinoa salad on all of our plates was a welcome surprise and so refreshing. The desserts were varied as well with a fabulous creme brulee and panna cotta, and surprisingly even a dairy free option that was so delicious (Coconut & Chia Seed Semifreddo). I can really appreciate a restaurant that has a non-dairy creamer option for my coffee. To top it off, the service was PERFECT and the atmosphere was so relaxing. They even put a candle in my son's dessert just because we mentioned it in the reservation - such attention to detail! I'll definitely go again (trying to figure out how to get my girls group to make the drive!) So happy I finally got to Metro Bis. Faith Middleton would be proud! ;)”

“A legend in our town. Delicious “old school” Ice Cream, service, and a grassroots farm that allows walking trails throughout. Literally a treasure and well worth an excursion to find if you have not.”

“We chanced The Coffee Spot for the first time on a Sunday morning. What a delightful, if busy, choice. So many positives: delicious food--we had a wrap and an egg sandwich and 2 muffins--blueberry and caramel--YUM. There was a pleasant guitarist/singer, and we did find a table--actually 2 comfy chairs with a side table between. Most likely the place isn't as hoppin' on other days, but the entertainment and crowd added a nice vibe. We were served after ordering at the counter, and no one needed a pager or some other elaborate finder system. They just do the job and it was a lot of fun. We were thrilled that The Coffee Spot does NOT use Canola oil. Not a big fan of corn oil, which is what they say they use, but way better than having Round Up and Hexane residues in our food with Canola.”

“I went in today after driving by the place a couple times and had a great chat with the owner. As someone who works at another local coffee shop, they have an awesome setup and really care about their employees, as well as a great knowledge of the coffee industry. “This is by far my favorite pizza place in simsbury that is close to me, there are a lot of good places, but this one is always the same quality, and service is always great. They usually always have slices ready to go and the price of a whole pizza is reasonable in todays day and age. Great quick place to eat or even sit down inside, they usually have TV on and kitchen is in view so you can watch them make all the food”

“I've been at this place numerous over several years times, so this is a late review. I can call this restaurant my favorite one. Every visit we had, every dish we tried from the menu - everything was exceptional each time. They have an extensive menu of sushi, rice and noodles with different proteins, as well as a bunch of signature dishes. Drinks include high quality cocktails and sake, including an ability to order a sake flight. On my photos you can find my favorites - Mei Fan and Scorpion Bowl cocktail.The place is big. It is divided into 4 separate rooms: bar zone, booth zone and 2 usual dining areas (on the photo). Plus they have a patio during warmer months. This allows them to seat everyone even during peak loads. There is a lot of parking space available. It also has a website with actual menu and an ability for online ordering, which I appreciate.I absolutely recommend this place if you're in the area. “The place is a little quirky....everyone seems to know everyone so its a little intimidating at first but the staff is welcoming and the beer selection is fantastic. The only food I've had is the roast beef sandwich which was suggested by another customer and she was right on. It was fresh, warm and pretty tasty. They had trivia going on when I was there and it seemed well received. The building is old and unique and the fireplace makes the room. Parking is a little tight but its not a big deal to park across the street. We have been twice now and its a do again for sure.”

“We arrived at 1pm and it was packed, we waited 20 minutes to be seated. Our order was good, except for the coffee, which needs to be improved because it is literally water, it has no flavor. If you want good coffee, this is not the place. Our waiter was very attentive. The prices are always very reasonable. The pancakes are exquisite. We always visit East Windsor, CT and Holyoke.”

“These are my peeps! This special Starbucks feels like an extension of my living room. So cozy with the fireplaces and charm. The Americanos are super delicious, but best of all are the staff. “This is the only Chinese restaurant that I go to. The food is always hot, fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. I always get the boneless spare ribs and the chicken lo mein. I always have enough for two or three days. The ribs are always tender and the sauce for the ribs has a nice sweetness to them. The chicken lo mein, in my opinion pairs well with the boneless spare ribs. I eat them together. The people there are extremely nice. From the first time I discovered this place, I always gotten big smiles and a warm welcome as soon as I walked in. From the amazing customer service to the delicious food, I would highly recommend this place to anybody.”
