Where do I begin. My boyfriend and I came here to grab a drink + food. A little caveat, I’m from Simsbury and have been here plenty of times before with 0 issues. Anyway, we sat in the bar and our server, Whisper, took our order. (Note: she did NOT tell us her name, we would find that out later). We got our drinks and put our food order in. 20 minutes later, we still hadn’t gotten our appetizer (it wasn’t busy for a Saturday night) we thought “oh well the kitchen must be busy”. 30 minutes. No food. At this point, our server Whisper came and “checked” in on us. No mention of our food. 40 minutes later, nothing. FINALLY, at about 50 minutes after placing our order, the bartender came over frantically. She said “was Whisper serving you??” to which we explained we weren’t sure as she hadn’t told us her name. The bartender then explained that Whisper hadn’t even put out food in. This awesome bartender then told us our drinks were on the house and she was willing to put or food in, completely comped. At that point, we just took the loss and left. As we were walking out, Whisper was at the hostess desk and refused to lift her head up to acknowledge us. 0/10 would NOT recommend Whisper as your server.

Was my first time eating here, & unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience. The food is fine..had steak frites, but the service was awful. Our server, didn’t come to our table, until we asked another staff member about ordering. After getting our drinks, It took 40 minutes for him to come back to take our food order, only after we tracked him down & indicated we’d like to eat. Food took about 20 minutes to come out, which wasn’t a problem. Our server never checked on us, & when we wanted another drink, we again had to track him down. Not sure if I’ll ever go back.

Recently hosted a 40th Birthday at Iron Horse and cannot rave enough about the event. Frank, the Manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made planning the party for 60 people really simple. They were able to assist with bringing in a Trivia Master and the place looked amazing with the decorations we bought. The food and choices were awesome - everyone raved (get the egg rolls!) and all in all it was the perfect evening. Can't thank Frank and his team enough for making the evening such a huge success and we'll definitely be hosting parties there again!

The food is decent except for the mozzarella sticks they are horrible there's no cheese in them they overcook them and it's disgusting, the atmosphere is decent I feel like they judge you from the moment you walk in, The waitresses could be more attentive and I feel when I post this if they know who I am the service will be worse but if you want booze your good

We went to watch the football playoffs this past Sunday, Jan 21, 2024. i had the dry rub wings and they were one of the best wings that I've had in a long time. Atmosphere was fun and festive! Service was excellent. Would recommend. We did make reservations to sit in the bar on the high top tables.

My husband and I go to happy hour here almost every week. Great vibe, food, drinks, atmosphere. The servers/bartenders there are welcoming, helpful, and always provide awesome service. Outdoor seating in warmer months is a boon. Lucky to have a place like this so close to home!
