“Great authentic Italian restaurant at a fair price. For starters we ordered brussel sprouts which were the perfect amount of crispy. Entree I got the tutto mare fra'diavolo which was the right amount of spice and the seafood was great quality. This restaurant has a big menu and something for everyone. The restaurant was loud at peak dinner time so if that is not the type of dinner you are looking for i would look elsewhere. Highly recommend.“

“The Barnwood is our go to for occasions as well just to eat out. The wait staff are very good . Our orders always arrive promptly, and as ordered. In addition to a well rounded menu there always are wonderful specials. We have never had a meal that we didn't like. The chef is inventive and steps outside of the ordinary with fish and meat selections. The only negative is that the acoustics are dreadful making it noisy when the restaurant fills up.Also the tables for two are small.“

“Got take out from Aldo’s tonight and it was incredible. Calamari was fresh and crispy. The lobster ravioli was incredible too. Big chucks of lobster in a delicious sauce. This place turns out magnificent dishes and is a must visit! Well done!“

“Came for my mans birthday and first time coming. We were in a separate room, very elegant , an area that was not loud. We ordered drinks and received numerous amounts of bread per our request, ordered appetizers fried calamari, buffalo wings, and salads and ordered our food eventually. We ordered prime Rib and Filet Mignon. When ordering the meat, it's all you get. It's an added charge for a sauce. it's an added charge for a side. Our group of people ordered sushi, steaks, seafood linguini, and porterhouse for two . The service was great for the number of people we had. We ended with desserts and sang Happy birthday.“

“My husband and I were in the area and found this gem. I love the esthetics. The staff was friendly, warm and inviting. Our waitress Julia provided awesome service. I really liked that everyone worked as a team.The food was delicious. I had the fish tacos. Everything was fresh. My husband had the steak sandwich, he loved it.They had non alcoholic ipa available, since he doesn't drink that's a plus. And my martini was perfection.Worth the money. “This is a little gem in Oxford.it has a small bar on one side and a restaurant area as well as an outdoor patio. The menu is small but the food is of great quality along with huge portions.A great cozy little hometown place with friendly service and a rustic feel to it.“
