Have visited this restaurant under the new ownership twice. Once for takeout and tonight to dine in. Both experiences were wonderful and most importantly, the food was delicious. For take out we got the chicken parm and for dine in I had the chicken piccata. The staff is very friendly as well. Highly recommended!

This was a pleasant and nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The service was great and the food was also good.We started with an appetizer of stuffed Portobello mushrooms with crab meat and it was delicious. My wife had their main chicken dish named after the restaurant and she loved it.I had the chicken special with a red wine reduction and mashed potatoes and a garlic spinach that was so good. We'll definitely be back and recommend this little gem.

I'd be willing to give 3.5 stars but not 4. We went last night (it was a Thursday). I am dying for an amazing Italian restaurant to find its way to Southington. Tuscany is great but too small. We need more. I was super excited about the Flair owners coming in to continue the Italian traditions at Fratelli's. Aside from taking over ownership - not much seems to have changed. They could do with updating the space for sure. The food was pretty good but portion sizes are gigantic. They should consider cutting the portions by at least 1/3 (or half) and bringing down the prices a tad. It's a bit pricey for pretty much traditional Italian fare (and there's really nothing that special to be charging $27 for chicken parm). I got the risotto special. They had no asparagus which is a little odd. I started with the pasta e fagioli - it was thicker than I've seen before. Not so much a tomato based broth - more of a tomato based stew but the taste was delicious! They had interesting (in a good way) salad dressing options. A couple people had the bolognese and enjoyed it and the last person got the risotto with sea scallops. The scallops were cooked beautifully. Our waitress was forgetful and the service was incredibly slow. It took a long time for drinks (they came back twice to ask what 2 people ordered), soup/salads and dinner to arrive at our table and there was a very long wait between courses. Be careful coming with young kiddos - it's definitely not an 'in and out' place. Hope they keep working to improve!

Nope No

Season your food. Also, you are either going to be an upscale restaurant or a family restaurant. The way you let that family with loud obnoxious children ruin other patrons good evening is a crime. Learn how to tell obnoxious people to be quiet and not ruin other's dining experiences.

Hi K.

The relatively new owners of this restaurant, who also have a nice restaurant in Southington, seem to be struggling with service problems. The food is very good and the atmosphere is very nice. BUT....unless you are dining there on a weekday, and at a time the restaurant is normally not busy, service is poor..... pleasant, but very, very slow....disappointing!

I ordered two trays of lasagna for takeout. I had previously ordered it under the old owners. This might have been the worst lasagna I have ever had including anything frozen over the last 50 years. The sauce was a combination of bland tomato soup and tomato puree. There was almost no meat or cheese in it and it was maybe an inch thick. It was a side for 18 people and one was person said it was okay. EVERYONE else said it was terrible. Of the two trays, there was 1 and 1/3 left. I used to really like their food but it has gone so far down the hill it is embarrassing.

Pleasant dinner stop off the highway. Food was good and it was busy, but we didn't have to wait long.

Came here after going to look at Christmas lights with the family. Came in at 6:15 and walked out the door at 8 p.m.Now I want to emphasize that this is not a nock on our server as he was very pleasant. But more on the management for the lack of training.Service was painfully slow, it took almost 2 hours to have a meatball appetizer and 3 pasta dishes. Again all the staff was friendly just very very slow. It took the poor kid almost 10 minutes to manually add up our check.Prices was slightly high but not outrageous.Food was good, just felt like something was missing out of my penne. Our bill ame out to $98.00Appetizer meatballs2 pasta dishesKids pasta2 sodas1 glass of wine.Restaurant was very clean, white table cloths and fresh water brought to the table after about 10 minutes without anybody coming over.I would say I'll give it another try to see if was just an off. Ight and lack of training.

The food was delicious! Service was quite slow. We waited quite some time for our first course and in between courses. However the excellent food was worth the wait, and there was plenty of it. We all went home with almost another complete meal. Bring your patience and you won't regret the experience. Ambiance is simple, perhaps a tad bit crowded.

Our group of 5 had dinner and were very happy with both the food, and the service. Our server, Gianna, was friendly, informed, helpful, and efficient. Each of us were impressed with the menu, plating, and delicious taste of our dinners. Living close by, we’ll be here often. It’s a winner!!!

Food & service were great. We ate outside. The inside is very nice but extremely noisy. But would definitely go again!
