This location is easy to get to and located near several other restaurants. If you like great landscaping with relatively easy golf holes, this is your place. They've put a lot of money into wood structures, waterways, and maintaining the gardens. There's even a section with herbs! Many times, you can see actual frogs in the pond (not just the nearby statue). They gave a section for kids afterwards where you can play on a wooden train or pirate ship. There's a gazebo with a round table inside it. There's at least a half dozen picnicking tables up on a knoll. On site food is 3 choices: beer (sometimes with pizza) for the adults, an ice cream section, and a grille. At the grille, seating was nice, prices were low, and wind attempted to blow away our napkins. We came here midday on a September Saturday and the crowds were steady but not overwhelming. Since it was the end of the season, there are a few minor repairs needed. Worn out wood borders were the most common interference (twice). One other downfall is that the mini golf ($9/adult on weekends and weekday evenings) is cash only. Food takes credit. Not sure why they'd rather have you use an onsite ATM than just pay for all by credit in one spot.

Great environment for teens, kids, and adults alike. The course is fun, with bridges and a river that you cross like 10 times. Cute gazebos and foliage, does not feel like you’re in the middle of southington. Drove 40 minutes to this place, and it was worth it. Sat at the restaurant tables for like 5 hours after the game and it was peaceful and quiet even though there were kids around. Service was amazing and all employees were super sweet.

What a hidden gem this mini golf place is. 18 holes of fun for the entire family. Beautiful landscaping. They have food and serve Gifford’s ice cream as well. You can just go to sit by the waterfall and have a lite snack. The best part is there is an adults only bar area with games like Connect 4, Jenga, Mancala and more located in the bottom back that we just found out about today. We never knew it was there!Marissa was the employee who waited on us. She was absolutely lovely, provided excellent customer service and kept my water glass full!If you are in the area stop by. You’ll be glad you did.

Other than the fact that they have a beautiful facility, lackluster management, coupled with a staff that turns a blind eye to people complaining will make this a stay away from facility! Sadly, a very poor representation from the canton Connecticut little league team was the cause of all the problems and management could’ve easily asked them to leave but instead they allowed them to put other customers in harms way, and do damage to the facility and turn a blind eye to it all. I would highly recommend trying another miniature golf course other than Hidden Valley. If I could give them, zero stars, I definitely would just on their management or lack there of especially on a busy weekend

Super cute mini golf course for a very reasonable price. Note that they only take cash.

Late dinner. Lobster rolls, blackened mahi burger, and sea foam from thimble island. All perfect on a late summer night. Attentive and professional service from Julia! Only regret, not enough time to play mini golf.

Friendly staff (shout out to our lunch server McKenzie), reasonable fees, lots of shady areas, fantastic menu (blackened mahi-mahi w/ mango salsa and Gifford’s ice cream were highlights). 3 generations of big and little kids loved it!

Hidden Valley is a hidden gem. We recently went here for dinner, mini golf, and ice cream... This place is pretty much one stop shopping for date night. Word of caution, the mini golf is cash only. In regard to the mini golf, it is simply one of the most beautifully landscaped courses I have ever played on. Some of the holes are not real challenging, but that just gives you the chance at a good score & can make you feel good about your mini golf skills. The food was all good American food and is reasonably priced & delicious. The staff was great, very friendly & she seemed to have pride in the place. We also learned our server had just become part of management, which I'm sure helped with her enthusiasm. They have ice cream here too and it is also very good and tasty. There is a nice-looking little beer garden here on the property as well.I have no problem recommending this place and actually already have to some good, close friends. We will be back for some more future fun & will probably bring some of our crew with us...

I think it's one of the most beautiful and nices mini golf courses I've ever played.

I haven't been here since 2017 and wow, has it changed. From hole 10 onwards, our party and everyone in line were being attacked by mosquitos, most likely coming from the stagnant water. Unattended teenagers were using the clubs to splash water at each other, hitting other players. I could forgive their yelling profanities, but when they started hitting their balls before our turn was up, we called it quits. My 8 year old said the water smelled like our dog's anal glands. It was truly a disgusting family night. We're itching all over from the mosquito bites!

We stopped for an afternoon snack at Gifford's ice cream. We've been doing this a lot lately. The ice cream is delicious! There are lots of flavors for me to try and the dog is ecstatic over his vanilla cup, packed in tight. Once I finish trying the ice cream flavors that caught my attention, it's on to the Italian iced! They have a concoction that has a glitzy name that is basically a Root beer float, but with lemonade in place of the root beer and Italian ice in place of the ice cream! Can you imagine?!

The beer garden was amazing! What a nice addition, the games after golf were fun. Great beer selection and Marisa the beer tender knew her stuff. We will be back soon

Our favorite mini-golf! It’s always fun; the course is attractive and well kept and challenging. The food is great and the staff couldn’t be nicer.
