Great Friday night dinner here. It's been years since we were in the area but it's as good as ever! Delicious food, (mostly) friendly staff ... our specific server was kind of grumpy and sullen it maybe he had a bad day. The rest of the staff were wonderful! Their lamb pasanda is delicious aside from a little grisle, the butter chicken and tikka Marsala were lovely. Their onion bhajis and chicken 65 were the best!! I'd go back just for appetizers! The place is always clean and bright and nicely decorated!

I was looking for indian cuisine near where I live and I came across this spot. We went in 2 hrs before it closed on a Sunday night. We were seated very quickly. The server was very attentive and checked on us quite frequently. We ordered the lentil soup (delicious even for my partner who is not a soup person), naan, chicken masala, lamb, veggie balls and tea.Everything was exceptional, received our food quickly, quality was there even with fast service, very tasty and authentic as I’ve dined at multiple different Indian cuisines across the US. As for spice they have 4 levels. I love spice as hot as the sun so I would say I could have had it spicer but my partner said it was just right for spice.Price is very reasonable and within market pricing. For two apps, two entree and a drink it was under $65. You also get a lot for what you pay for.Atmosphere is nice for family setting, private dinner, etc. they have music playing in the background and the decor is very nice as well.I would recommend giving this place a try if you enjoy this style of cuisine.

The food is always phenomenal! The service usually is as well, however, tonight when we went about half way through our dinner the young man took over our service. He kept rushing us to finish and trying to take our plates away when we were still eating and feeding our son. He was very impatient and kept hovering over us while we fed our son his last 3 pieces of chicken. Usually we have a fantastic experience with service here and when they are getting ready to close they come over making sure we don’t want dessert or anything else. Sadly, we didn’t get this experience tonight which is extremely disheartening as this is our favorite place to get Indian food.

I love this place, one of the best Indian places around. The only issue I have is inconsistency with the food... First time I had Lamb Vindaloo it was phenomenal; second time, the lamb was overcooked. Some days the samosa chaat is amazing, other days it's subpar. The meat, especially chicken, is often overcooked, I'd say 6 or 7 out of 10 ten times. First time we got curry, chicken or lamb, it was great. Tonight we got the chicken curry; the chicken was overcooked and the curry was bland and lacked the usual sweetness that curry has. Love the place, but for the prices we pay it would be nice to have a more consistent culinary experience...

Two people in our group are vision impaired. Without asking, the waiter brought Braille menues for them. We we surprised and delighted. The atmosphere is very calm, and the acoustics and quiet background music allow for conversation. I recommend the bread basket if you like garlic naan. We got Kadai chicken mild and it still had a bit of heat. Yum. Eggplant lovers will appreciate the Baingan Bartha. We look forward to returning to try the Butter Chicken and a lamb dish.

Not good at all. way too much ghee. Gave me vindaloo once when I asked for tikka masala and didn’t think I’d notice, and the last time I went I asked for spicy (because they will never make it spicy for me even when I ask) they told me that I should get mild because spicy was going to be too hot for me ? when I asked if it’s too hot why do they offer it , he said “it’s for other people. Not for you” ? I said well I keep ordering spicy and you keep giving it to me mild so I’m asking you for spicy because you asked how hot I want it and that’s how I want it” and he kept arguing with me so we just left. Don’t insult me like that

I usually love this place, however the past 2 times I ordered food from here there was less flavor and spice and MUCH more salt. It I SO incredibly salty, all I taste is salt. In both dishes. Super salty, cannot enjoy it. ?

I got lamb vindaloo and saag paneer. Both were decent. The meals came with rice. I would order again.

This is my brothers go-to Indian restaurant so I thought I would give it a shot! I had the appetizer Rajasthani Chicken Kabab it was very good I liked that you could order it really spicy, and not too salty at all which I appreciate. It was a little dry though (sidenote I did order super late at night). Also shared the samosas. Two come in and order, and trust me you do not need more than one, maybe two if you're really hungry! They are absolutely huge, like the size of my palm. I did taste the curry, it is very good, less saucy than other places but a lot of meat. It come in a pint size container with a side of rice. Looking forward to trying other menu options!

My favorite local Indian food spot- luckily for me, it is close to my job. I always get the chicken tikka masala, served with rice. An order of samosas is a must- get more than 1 order if you intend to share! I always get a mango lassi. I switch between regular naan and garlic naan, depending on my mood. This has been the most consistent Indian restaurant I've had in CT. There's a few other spots that have been good some times but fallen short other times. Namaste India has always delivered on great flavors. I would be interested in trying some other stuff on their menu! I'll update my review when I do!

I’m surprised about the negative reviews. My husband and I went for dinner and it was absolutely delicious! I had the chicken curry, he had the vegetable biryani with garlic naan. He’s vegetarian and had just as much to choose from like I did. The restaurant was very clean, nice quiet atmosphere. Good pricing- our bill came out to $41.I can’t wait to go back and try something new!

The food here is amazing. I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala. You can choose the level of heat (spiciness) in it as well. The staff is always friendly and very quick!
