Very disappointed. No kids menu, you have to pay for chips and salsa, service is sooo slow and the food is not as good as it used to be. Tasted burned. It used to be our favorite place to eat. Not anymore :(

I ate here alone and I think I just the wrong meal. I feel bad giving a low food grade because the service was so good.I had the Aroz Vallarta. Shrimp, chicken. And steak over rice with queso sauce. While it was filling it was not quite what I expected. The shrimp was cooked perfect but the chicken and beef were not, both were overdone and dry. The worst part was the cheese sauce, it smothered the plate and was quite bland.. like I said, it was the wrong thing to order.

Food was absolutely terrible. I spend 100$ total on a crappy quesadilla for 20$ that barely had any steak in it. A margarita that was all fake mix and barely any alcohol for $26!!!. The drink was so bad. I just ordered a beer. I said I didn't like the margarita because it was too sour and had no alcohol. But they still did not take it off the bill. The Chips that came with the salsa were stale and hard... I'm Extremely disappointed by this experience. And it was a total waste of money. I Would have had a better experience in a Taco Bell parking lot with a case of beer. I will never come back here. Or to any other locations.

Very overpriced for what it is. I ordered lunch and unfortunately even the rice and beans lacked flavor and rice was dry. I am surprised, especially for the price. I got the lunch special and it seems kind of a rip off that I only got one taco and could have gotten an enchilada for the same price. I also waited a while before acknowledged. This was my first time here, but I don't think I will return

I just left Puerto Vallarta in Southjngton CT and I am very disappointed with the service, food, the atmosphere of the restaurant and especially the 45 minute wait for my food. Twice he came to the table to say that the food was almost there. The waiter brought my wife and eight-year-old son's food first and the food was poorly served. The food was ordered without any spiciness, and it was served with spiciness and four jalapenos on top of the meat. My carne asada never arrived, and my wife's arroz con frigoles never arrived either. Horrible service, unfriendly employees.

The service is always excellent at PV Southington. As you can see from the pics, great presentation of the food and drinks. I had the peppers and filet mignon. I am generally not a fan of filet, but this dish was excellent. Meet was super tender and the peppers grilled perfectly. Tortilla soup was a tad salty for my taste, but the person who ordered it loved it. Margs are always presented in a very nice way. The fare is a slight notch above the typical dishes at your average Mexican restaurant. I HIGHLY recommend Puerto Vallarta if you are in the area.

We always have a fantastic time here!! Their mole enchiladas are unbelievably good, I have dreams about them. My dining partner usually orders the chicken fajitas which are equally as fantastic. Portions are HUGE - expect to take home leftovers. Prices are amazing for the amount of food you get. Service is always friendly and helpful, I have never had bad service here in the dozens of times I've visited. The place is decorated like any other Mexican restaurant you'd find in New England, with murals and sugar skulls everywhere. Margaritas are okay, the flavored ones are not my favorite: too sweet and not strong enough. The food and service more than makes up for it. I love coming here!

Best Mexican food in the state. Don't hesitate to drop in. The fajitas. Burritos and especially enchiladas are supurb. I never leave hungry. And u can't forget the salsa. It's perfect. The staff treats us very well. Very comfortable atmosphere for anyone;)

Usually good food, but be warned that if you’re ordering on Uber Eats they will not honor delivery orders. It will say ‘delivery by store staff’ they’ll wait 10 minutes then cancel the order.EDIT: It shows that the restaurant staff (not the Uber eats delivery staff) will deliver the order when trying to order delivery. Implying Puerto Vallarta has its own delivery drivers. If this is not the case, it should be looked into because unless you choose the pickup option there is seemingly no one going to get the order on Uber Eats side for deliveries. I assume that’s something the restaurant staff could be unaware of, but should contact Uber on their side as this is what is shown on the consumer side and probably contributes to missed delivery opportunities.
