Way over salted. To the point of not being able to eat more than a few bites of my dish which was a massive disappointment. Im also not sure why the rice is so extremely over cooked that its just a big starch ball. I’m very sad that I couldn’t eat my lunch ?

If you are sensitive to salt, you should avoid this place. I had the Panang Curry and it was the saltiest bowl of curry I've ever eaten in my life. I was surprised to not find a single other review that mentions how overly salty it is.

I love this place. The thai iced tea, bangkok egg rolls, crispy wonton pad thai, mango curry, and ginger ice cream are to die for. Not to mention the boba tea- so good!! Parking can be a little tricky, though. The lot is shared with a car dealership so there aren’t a lot of spots available- try to carpool if you have multiple people coming.

This place is extraordinary and I frequent it at least 3 times a month! The service here is wonderful. The ladies there are always smiling and more than happy to accommodate your requests. The appetizers, food, specialty drinks and desserts are delicious. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients offer plenty of vegan options. Despite some reviews mentioning portion size, I've always found the portions to be more than generous. Somewhere in Bangkok the best Thai restaurant in the area! อาหารที่ยอดเยี่ยม สถานที่ที่มีความสุข Xāh̄ār thī̀ yxd yeī̀ym s̄t̄hān thī̀ thī̀ mī khwām s̄uk̄h

A variety of Boba flavors and other drinks are available. We tried the Brown Sugar Bangkok milk tea, Vietnamese iced coffee, Ovaltine Volcano Milk and a chocolate smoothie and they were all delicious. The food was amazing as well. We tried the Bangkok fried rice, padthai, crab bags, gyozas and chicken got mad. All wonderful. Service was great. Will definitely be returning.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is great. We ordered Bangkok rice with chicken, two servings of pad see ew (one with chicken and the other with tofu), spring rolls, and sweet chili wings, all of which were exceptionally tasty. I recommend making a reservation beforehand, as the restaurant is usually busy. Also, please note that the parking lot is quite small, so be mindful of that. Overall, the food is excellent.

Great BYOB with a peaceful and soothing ambiance! We were visiting family and stopped in the night before Thanksgiving. The waitresses were excellent. Had the Summer roll appetizer with Beef Pad Thai noodles as my entree with a Sam Adam’s Octoberfest! The total bill for 4 of us was less than $80. Left a generous tip. Will be back!

This place is so good!!! My family got take out here when I was in town for Thanksgiving and I can’t stop thinking about it. Can’t wait to go back once I’m back in town. Highly recommend this place. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, delicious, and I love the way they cut their veggies.

11/15/23Let me start by saying I’ve not been a fan of Asian cuisine, but my experience at Somewhere In Bangkok made me a convert…..at least to Thai cuisine.I had lunch with old friends Dave & Pat N who convinced me to step out of the somewhat boring dining box I live in and try Thai food. I’m sure glad they did!I looked over the menu and noted that some dishes were marked with a little flame symbol denoting spice levels from 0-3.I’m not a big fan of spicy foods so I panned those. They will however, prepare any dish to the spice level you’re comfortable with.I started with a bowl of Thai rice soup that was essentially chicken rice soup. It was a very good chicken soup with a mild, not at all salty, but very flavorful broth. My main course was Jasmine, crab rice, that I asked to have a few shrimp added to.Not to understate it, but this was absolutely delicious. No skimping on either crabmeat or shrimp, and like the soup, not at all salty. The portions are very generous, and I had almost half to take home.I asked for the dessert menu and a cake caught my eye. It’s called Pan Dan cake.It was, to put it mildly, HEAVENLY.Very light like a chiffon cake, with a mild citrus flavor and topped with whipped cream.Service was spot on.I will most certainly put this delightful restaurant in my rotation.Parking: Very limited parking for a restaurant with the seating capacity it has.
