Ok, so it is a diner, but the food is much better than that suggests. Ossobuco was perfectly cooked. Dessert was amazing. Service was prompt, pleasant, and helpful. Glad I went and glad I went outside usual diner fare.

Here we had a very bad experience at this place, we went on Friday at 10:25 pm and the man at the reception immediately saw us and said it was closed (when We look at the tables they had customers inside), At the entrance door it said they closed at 12 am, we asked again and this man said it was closed because "they were going to clean the kitchen filters" I don't think a food business wants to close on a Friday before the usual time for cleaning the filters.  This made us think that because we were Hispanic (RACISM), they denied us service.

It was a disappointing breakfast at the diner. I’ve been here so many times over so many years that it pains me to write this. First they seat me at the bar even though there are booths and tables available. The waiter forgets to give me utensils. She also never asked for a coffee refill. There was so much noise at the bar due to waiters going in and out that the experience was quite bad. And finally when I gave this feedback to the cashier, there was no apology. The avocado toast was very well done so the cooks were the redeeming g feature. But otherwise, quite bad.

Really Good breakfast. A little on the pricier side compared to other diners on its level but it’s Southport so I guess it’s understandable. Very convenient and
