Hidden gem in Stamford! Great spot not too far from the Turkey Killer train stop. The food is phenomenal and there is always a positive atmosphere. Staff is very kind as well.

This is a hidden gem in Springdale. Happy hour is good, especially their meatballs. Their calamari is to die for and their pizza is amazing.

This was our first time at Amore and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. There was a slight miscommunication and issue in the beginning because we needed separate checks (we were a party or 16), but our server AJ went above and beyond for us. We had multiple people with shellfish/seafood allergies and he made sure things were taken care of for us. He was very attentive and didn’t skip a beat! Super polite and we felt very taken care of and grateful for his hard work.Thank you AJ for dealing with us and for being so wonderful.Sincerely a grateful group!

My wife and I used to come here often when it was operated by Bruno and we loved it. It is under a new owner now and it seems as though he is taking it to a worse place. They are understaffed and the owner does not help out the employees when it would get slightly busy. This was devastating to witness because he would just look at the chaos around him and not budge, which is not what a leader would do and made the restaurant function less. He would stand infront of the kitchen doors and be in the way of the employees trying to run food. He would watch as the employees struggle without providing any assistance which made my wife and i feel uneasy. There were tables that needed cleaning, customers in the front who weren't being attended and a busboy carrying 4 plates at once. As a customer this isn't the type of atmosphere that felt inviting. It isn't a very big place but my wife & i were waiting quite a while just to put an order in. The food was one of the better aspects to the establishment but the service and the new owner made it unbearable to be in. In my opinion there are better italian restaurant's around stamford that are worth checking out.

Usually love this place but found a piece of glass in our chicken parm delivery order tonight (triangle shaped about the size of half a pinky tip and I almost swallowed it). Called right away to warn them that this happened and just got a "thanks for calling." Told them to take my number in case the manager wanted to call and no one did. Hopefully was just a fluke and more people didn't have glass in their chicken park tonight. Lack of concern or acknowledgment was just as big a problem as chewing glass!!

Great experience. We sat outside which was awesome. Service was fantastic and friendly and the food was really great! Solid Italian fare. I had shrimp and pasta which was awesome. Perfectly cooked shrimp and pasta! One in the party had salmon salad and said it was delicious and perfectly cooked. Fresh veggies. One had chicken parm and said it was right up there with any chicken parm and one had chicken scarpielo and it was delicious! Oh yeah. We also had the fried calimari which was crispy, hot and fresh. This is an awesome go to neighborhood restaurant. Not fancy but not trying to be. Well done!!!

I have eaten at Amore before and always liked the food. I was taken there for my birthday and was very disappointed with my meal. I ordered Amore Chicken. The chicken was very overcooked and dry. The salad over it was not much - more options could be included for the price you charge.

Cute pizza restaurant with great service. There is plenty of parking as well. I had the Red Sangria ($12) and it was decent. Nothing really stood out.We also ordered some garlic knots and the Juliet Pizza. The knots were seasoned perfectly and baked thoroughly. My mother ordered the ravioli and I thought it was a bit dry. The sauce could have been a bit more liquidity.I definitely would come back here and try a different pizza. I think this is where they excel.

I would have given five stars on the service, but the waitress switched desserts on me, thinking I wouldn't know this. I am the chocolate master.

Honestly I like the restaurant before it changed years ago more. Still a very good restaurant.
