Recommended spot for lunch and it was an excellent recommendation. Tasty and filling (and well stuffed!) burrito. Friendly and quick service. Would definitely return if in Stamford again.

Been eating here for about three months now, today was the busiest I’ve ever seen it. Despite that they got my order taken and filled on time. This place is great if you want a lot of food for a low price. Their drink machine seems to be broken more often than not or previously they only had small soda cups as an option so I tend to never try and buy a drink. Other than that, the food is pretty decent and tastes good. It’s consistent taste wise, their blackened chicken is good and I’d recommend it. Their California screamin’ sauce is great according to my roommate who I usually come here with.

Just wanted to try something other than Chipotle, liked the food. Blackened chicken is awesome?
I had high hopes for California Tortilla. Has a reasonable interior atmosphere but was a little quiet and felt somewhat manufactured or unauthentic. Despite that it was clean and bright.It went downhill when eating the food. Nothing was particular horrible, but nothing was good. The burrito was 70% rice. The fajita veggies were just a few raw peppers thrown in. The steak was chewy and gristly. Overall disappointing and not worth it compared to a chipotle.
