“Steph made the most gorgeous cake for my aunts retirement party so I had to go back to her when my sister was turning 25! I gave her just a few specifics on what I wanted for her cake and she made it happen! Everyone loved how it looked and wanted to know where I got it, but they were shocked at how even more incredible it tasted! Will definitely be ordering from her again! (Funfetti cake with buttercream frosting and guava filling)“
“I don't know how this place doesn't have 5 stars. That you can make pastries this well is a miracle, especially in such a small town. People rating otherwise have no idea what they're talking about given the core service - the baking. The completely unique and amazing cupcakes, Sarah Bernhardt's, rainbow cookies with marzipan, petit fours, etc the list goes on. I'd drive hours out of my way to get stuff from here. Be lucky you have this in your community.“
“LOVE THIS PANADERÍA!!Took the family here after dinner in town and they immediately fell in love. They all come here now. We are more than happy to travel about an hour to have goodies from here. This is our spot for all celebrations.Their puercitos are my favorite, a good authentic one is difficult to to find but no longer.“
“By The Way Bakery in Greenwich is my favorite for gluten-free, dairy-free, and kosher treats. Tried their new hot chocolate today – rich and comforting. Grabbed some treats for the office, and everything was excellent. Highly recommend for delicious treats and cake!“
“We were out taking a drive one Sunday recently and decided to find a sweet little spot for a sweet treat. A quick yelp search for ice cream have us a few options in the Greenwich area and the second I saw gelato, the search was over. This was the cutest little shop! It has just enough room in front of the counter for a handful of strangers or a family to stand and wait while ordering. Those place reminded me of one of the Gelato places I went to in Rome at Piazza Navona. The service was fast and friendly. When I asked about a flavor, he let me try it. I had Italian cookies gelato and my husband had the most decadent of dark chocolate gelatos. They were delicious! We drove over to Cos Cob Park to enjoy the treats as we walked and took in the beautiful views. It was the perfect end to a Sunday drive.“
“Angela Mia is the real deal, an authentic Italian pastry shoppe owned and staffed by - guess who? - Italians!, since 1970, who make everything on the premises. When you walk in, your senses are treated to every kind of Italian pastries, cookies and cakes you could imagine, neatly stacked behind glistening glass shelves. Try finding someone to make you a chocolate mousse cheesecake on order, and your'e gonna be looking for a long time. True, The Cheesecake Factory makes them, but who wants their cheesecake to be made in a factory, lol, at exorbitant prices to boot. There are a number of reviewers who mention they weren't treated with respect by staff, and give a poor rating based on that. It's been my experience the way someone is treated may lead them to leave a poor rating, but has little to do with the quality of the food. I feel Angela Mia's overall rating is unfair because of this. Personally, I've never had any problems there. Nuff said.“
“I see a lot of negative reviews on here but we've actually had no problems with this location. We've never ordered a cake from here but every time we've come for regular ice cream or ordered online the orders have been done quickly and accurately. A star is deducted since the location is a little rundown and out of date.“
