(Edit may 1 2022:Judy's is only doing catering at this point. I assume and am hoping that this is just temporary)This place is great! The menu has a wide variety and everything they prepare is fresh and tastes terrific. On Thursday nights they have trivia contests which is a lot of fun (which surprised me as I thought it was going to be a waste of time and it definitely wasn't). Whenever I'm up in North Stamford I try to get here - even if it's for takeout.(And... The gal that is the owner (Judy) also owns the Tabouli Grill down High Ridge in bullshead which has some of the best Mediterranean food around)

Got the shrimp and grits yesterday. The gravy was the consistency of wallpaper paste and the shrimp was almost non existent. Come on now...for $26...you need to do better.

Great variety of southern themed food with some healthy options including salads. The OMG BLT is aptly named. Very reasonable prices and very friendly and efficient service.

Best BBQ I’ve had in a while… order from Judy’s periodically and their BBQ meats are delicious from rotisserie chicken to chopped brisket. Their BBQ Melt is my favorite dipped in BBQ sauce. Cornbread and housemade chips always hit the spot. Side salad (if you really want) is made with fresh ingredients. Salmon was a solid alternative to BBQ meats but wasn’t anything super special. Would highly recommend sticking to the BBQ.

Been getting takeout here for a number of years, but after tonight's experience, never again. Ordered the Chicken and Waffles supper, and when I got home saw that that there was no syrup or butter included in the bag. I called them to let them know and their proposal was to take $1 off the bill. No one should be expected to eat a dry waffle and dry chicken tenders without those condiments - totally unacceptable. It was like eating shredded cardboard. Any owner that understands the economics and customer service dynamics of the restaurant business would never be so short-sighted as to make that their offer for compensation for their obvious mistake. This is not the time to be offending your customer base, and for the measly cost of a $16 meal, they will be losing around a thousand dollars a year in revenue. Like I said, short-sighted for sure. I have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to poor customer service. There are too many other options to choose from where you feel like your business is valued.

Ordered for pick up - arrived before the designated time and food was cold, items were missing from the order and the woman who directed my son to the order was extremely rude. Clearly they cannot handle the carry out business. Will not make the mistake of ordering again.

I called and made a personal complaint to Judy herself and she was a not pleasant person and didn't even care to hear my complaint . Judy the customer always right Judy. If I had to rate this restaurant food I would give them a complete f for failure. The bbq sauce is by far the worse I ever had in my life . If this is homemade BBQ sauce you need a better recipe . I have had kraft BBQ sauce better than yours . The corn bread is another thing. They call it honey butter? So where was the butter or the honey ? I had a better time with a Popeye biscuit than your corn bread. If a Popeye biscuit and the Sahara desert had a baby it would be YOUR CORNBREAD !!!!! ...... as for your baked beans now I had better bushes baked beans that come out of a can . A (aluminum can ) . Another disappoint was the mac and cheese . Story in a nut shell KRAFT WINS AGAIN! . The last item on my long list of complaints is the beef brisket. Needless to say too it was far from the corn bread. If you order from there make sure you have a gallon of water to wash the dry food down. Judy rudely hang up on me because she couldn't take constructive criticism..... Get yourself together JUDY a little effort never hurt !

Tried Judy's for the first time and it was a great choice. We went with a takeout-only BBQ Family Meal which includes a whole chicken, St. Louis ribs and brisket (or pulled pork), plus 3 sides and cornbread. We may have over-ordered but we also got some smoked wings and calamari. All the meat was cooked perfectly and was moist and flavorful. The sides of wedges, mashed potatoes and coleslaw were tasty and filling. We stuffed our maws with the delicious food and then stopped to exercise--self control, that is--to pack away some tins for a future meal. So Judy, we'll stop by next time we're in the moody for some good cue!

The food was SO GOOD. Went here on a date w my boo and we both got chicken and waffles bc we love it. There's was great! Crispy chicken. The drinks were good and strong which is always good. Our waitress Lisa was very nice and funny!! She gave us some of there banana pudding to try and usually I'm not a banana person but this was so delicious. Very nice place that I'll be back to for brunch!

I got the famous Waffle Chicken Sandwich with a side of mac and the cheese. The Chicken Waffle sandwich was mediocre and the carton of mac and cheese was tiny but tasted well. The meal overall was okay, but spending 17$ for all this was way too overpriced for the value you get. I personally wouldn’t order this again…
