Fresh, wide variety of fish options- raw bar, soups, salads, fresh catch, frozen shrimp/ lobster, EVERYTHING.Their Manhattan Clam Chowder is the best in the Northeast. Delicious octopus and lobster salads. Bought swordfish chunks and had them for lunch- so tender and tasty. Highly recommend you buy your fish market fish at New Wave Seafood!!

We loved the steamers and fresh clams to start. We had the special sautéed soft shell crabs over linguine. The crabs were amazing the pasta was good but could have used a but more salt. Overall everything was great !!

Won't be giving this place any more of my money, out of principle. Brought my dog in, which I wouldn't have done if there was a place to leash her up outside (and, I've brought her in quite a few times before). The owner was incredibly rude to me about it, which is his right, but his approach was very dickhead-ish. Told him I would take my business elsewhere and he said "good". 1 star as I cannot support someone being that rude in a customer service industry.

Ordered fried belly clams for lunch and received only burnt pieces of unrecognizable crumbs. SAD. This place has third rate previously frozen fish for sale as it is primarily a business for restaurants' and institutional dining. The hot food bar from the previous day was dirty and filled with old leftover pieces of food. The prepared food selection looked pathetic and not organized. Run don't walk to superior businesses such as Greenwich Fish, Bon Ton Fish or the Lobster Box.

Picked up halibut to make dinner for Mom and wife who enjoy this fish in restaurants we go to on Long Island so I wanted to surprise them! Staff provide a nice portion and gave great instructions for preparation. Fish came out perfect along with the baked stuffed clams the chef (me) and food got rave reviews!

I was a faithful customer for a very long time but recently after gotten fish and chips , I was very disappointed because both the cod and the French fries were very greasy and too fried which made my stomach go into cartwheels meaning hitting the bathroom all night which has never happened but I think the quality of food has gone down and their help seems to always change!

We have been coming here for years but plan to take a break. The current staff seems to be very unhappy and it's no fun shopping in that sort of atmosphere. Hopefully the owners address it soon - there are other options around.
Called twice for pick-up order. When I got there it wasn't ready. Waited at least 15 minutes for order. Got home and mother's scallops were raw. Service is questionable.

Excellent selection, everything is fresh and don't expect bargain prices. I believe they have it all except I don't think they have Dungeness crab!

I was so looking forward to some good seafood but was left bitterly disappointed. Crab cakes were fried in old grease. They were dark, overcooked, tasteless. Coleslaw was tasteless. Sad.

Reasonable prices and good source for seafood. Should a particular fish is not being displayed; just inquire what alternatives exist. If unavailable fresh/thawed, a frozen option may be a consideration. Prices are driven by market/sourcing so be cognizant since prices are not sometimes driven solely by retailer. Excellent option for bulk should a seafood gathering be on your calendar. Mid to late mornings for best selection. Limited ancillary items (such as complimentary fresh herbs) but not their primary focus either. Staples such as cocktail, Tatar, lemons, and dry spices are available on premises.
