Went for lunch. Had the beef rib, brisket, pulled pork, and pork ribs. Nothing was particularly good. Had high hopes for the beef rib but there was little to no crust on it. I’ve never been disappointed with a beef rib before today. Service was good.

Went for a late lunch and enjoyed some delicious BBQ with a pulled pork sandwich (get the southern coleslaw on it), and great fries and sides! It was relatively quiet in the shop being so late in the afternoon that it was between lunch and dinner crowds, but the right amount of attention was given in addition to quick food service from the kitchen.Will absolutely visit again!
The service was great and I loved our waitress. It was good BBQ for sure, but I normally am more wowed by the flavor and tenderness of BBQ I've had at a place like this. It was still tasty for sure and I'd go again, but not quite 5 stars.

I have ordered delivery from these guys twice now via Uber, and the experience has been awesome both times. Order correct, timely and delicious! I get the 1 meat 2 sides: brisket, potato pie and collards. I ask for spicy bbq sauce and the brisket chopped, which they do perfectly. Only thing I did not like was 'southern coleslaw...' in the South, Cole slaw is either mayonnaise based (preferably very finely shredded) or North Carolina style, which is a hot pepper based vinegar sauce. This was neither. So just order another of their excellent sides instead!! (Pro tip: get a double side of potato pie!) I'm a bbq snob from the South... as in, I've planned entire variations on bbq trails. Bravo Boatyard!!

Just got a cheesesteak with sweet potato fries delivered to the office. The entire thing was a cold soggy mess, improperly cooked and delivered by people who really couldn't care less about their customers. If there's one place I would recommend never ordering from, it's The Boatyard at Smokey Joe's.

My husband and I eat here about once a month by or so for a casual date night or family dinner out. We love the BbQ smoky flavors whether the ribs, chicken, pulled pork or brisket and they are all also terrific as served on Portuguese rolls as a sandwich with fries. The service is always prompt and attentive, aiming for total satisfaction and all the flavors you could want. The sides are authentic BbQ as well, whether the baked beans, corn bread or coleslaw (if you like it made this way) and plenty to choose from. Our evening topper off is always the amazing warm red velvet cake with vanilla ice cream. It's worth eating less for dinner save room for that dessert! Overall, we love Smoky Joe's at the Boatyard and will continue to come often!

This place was WOW bar tender was awesome, food thought it came out quick plus it was on a slow period can believe it is slow when food is this good. calamari very tasty, didn't want to dip I since it had good flavor. Baby back ribs bomb almost melted in your mouth. Perfect BBQ sauce too.
