The food is amazing, honestly some of the best Peruvian I've ever had. Unfortunately they make it VERY clear that they don't want your business if you're not part of the community. It's a pretty ugly situation, to be honest.

The employees here are racist and hate white people. The past two times I’ve come in they’ve refused to serve me food because I am not a native Spanish speaker. They’ll literally ignore my presence until finally getting around to saying “we’re closed”. Hard to believe as it’s the middle of the day and there’s a full restaurant around me. Avoid this place and don’t contribute to the owner and the employee’s ignorance. It’s a shame that people operate their business this way.

These were the absolute best authentic tacos I have ever eaten. Superb! Clean restaurant and everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend Veronica's.

Food its super delicious no doubt. If you are hungry and want to kill the hunger this is one of the best places in stamford area. No doubt. They have a bit of side parking in front of the store. So you don't need to struggle to park your car. Just be careful getting out of the parking area into the street because sometimes cars pass low flying for unknown reason. Selfish drivers that think the road its made exclusively for them.

I've never felt more uncomfortable walking into a place full of everyone just staring, and the girl behind the counter just looking at me like what is she doing there meanwhile I was picking up a order for myself. I thought everyone was welcome into anyplace but I guess not this place. I'll continue to go elsewhere. The meat had no flavor which was very disappointing for Lomo. Be more welcoming is all I ask of the people behind the counter.

Veronica's is located in an industrial part of town. They have a small parking lot in front and they also deliver. It is a small restaurant that mainly serves the locals and workers in the area. I had oxtail, which was delicious and reasonably priced. The sauce is delicious and goes well with the rice. The oxtail is very tender and flavorful. Service was a bit weird since they stared and didn't say much. Guess they're not used to seeing non-locals. Good food though.

Absolutely amazing!! Classic Guatemalan food done right! I work nearby and was hoping that there'd be a place like this. I got the $12 plate with beans, Dominican cheese, tortillas, eggs, plantains, etc. I ordered on Yelp and picked it up in person. Friendly staff who are on top of it! It was the perfect start to my day and I'll surely be going back ASAP!!
