Great spot for beer and pretzels after walking the shops. Inside is an open beer hall and outdoor seating has propane fires for warmth.

Bratwurst bun a little soggy, fries overcooked sadly. The best parts of The Monk are the beer selection and garden.

The food, drinks and service were fantastic but it's not my kind of ambiance. The high top tables are so long that you share them with other parties and for a place that serves alcohol there were a lot of screaming and crying children.Kid-friendliness: There were a surprising amount of children when I went

Excellent service. Very quick and attentive. Fish sandwiches very good as well as chicken salad wrap. Drinks were spot on. Bill was about $40/person including tip and tax. Very satisfied.

This place definitely exceeded expectations. What we thought was a traditional small brewery turned out to be more of a hub for a bunch of microbreweries. They have a solid selection of beers from local breweries around the area but the food was a great standout. This might sound silly but their French fries are by far the best I’ve had anywhere and their cinnamon sugar pretzel bites was a mound of deliciousness easily more than enough for two and realistically 4 people. We ended up sharing ours with the tables to the left and right of us. ?

Hit the spot in every way for a post-aquarium outing with our whole family. We waited a bit for outside with apps and drinks until we could be seated, but didn’t mind since there are fire tables and a big outside area, including the outside bar with a TV screen of the beer menu. As for the menu, it’s well-executed brew pub fare and has an excellent selection of drinks- definitely something for everyone. Was so relieved to have come after a cold and windy aquarium experience, warmed and cheered us all up! Service was solid, prices reasonable, no complaints.Kid-friendliness: Brought our two nephews and they were accommodating with quick appetizers and high chairs.

My favorite place in Mystic to get dinner and drinks. Great beer, great food, and great service. Also, do yourself a favor and get the cornbread. You'll thank me later.
Sadly we went today for lunch and were seated and behind us a party of 7, then a party of 4 and then another party of 4 was seated as well. Every other party was served drinks and orders taken with no server ever even approaching our table of 2 so we left, the restaurant only had 1 other table sat when we came into the restaurant so there was really no excuse for us being missed. Normally I love this place but today was a huge disappointment

Went to Jealous Monk for lunch today. We were a party of 2 and when we were seated there was only one table that had guests at it. Three parties were seated behind us. All three parties were greeted and drinks ordered and not once were we acknowledged so we ended up leaving the restaurant.
