I haven’t eaten there in close to 4 years .We used to love the food but the last two times I was there the food was terrible. I complained and I thought I would get a refund but Chris just said he would tell the chef ! Needless to say I never went

The food is always excellent!!! Especially the prime Rib ( served every day) The wait staff is friendly and attentive but, Best of all they have the best prices for cocktails and wine. You actually get a full glass of wine and an appropriate amount of liquor in your cocktail! Unlike like most places that overcharged you for mostly juice.

Had dinner here recently and would definitely recommend! Great supper club feel. Went on a Wednesday night and was surprisingly busy! Even though our waitress was running she was fantastic as was the food. Shrimp cocktail, prime rib, cod (sorry I forgot pics). Really great would recommend any of these!Greek owned and run!

Excellent food!!! Attended a birthday party and they offered the guest 4 meal choices. Had the roast beef... Sooooo gooood! Had multiple servers working their butts off going above and beyond.Vegetarian options: They go out of their way to be sure your meal is perfect for your dietary needs and will make personal dishes if there isnt one on the menu. Very impressed!

The Blue Goose is housed in a building that is 70 years old. The original Blue Goose was built in 1910. I went to a medicare seminar so I was fortunate to dine at this establishment. Yes, that's right, I said, "establishment" 70+ years in running the same restaurant. You are established. Period. KudosThe most fascinating thing I found about the Blue Goose is that being in there felt like I was in an Alfred Hitchcock, Rod Serling and David Lynch film.Even the decor is over 70 years old. The patrons also appeared to be over 70. I was seated in the event room at the Blue Goose. My interest in nostalgia and history gave me rise to walk around and explore the rest of the place. What a trip! The old rustic floor and decor was so appealing that I wished I was not sitting in the event room. The coolest thing that caught my eye was the gorgeous bar about 2 miles long. This bar goes on forever. No one was sitting at the bar but the bar was attended by a very cool man. He was tall, friendly, handsome and no doubt the perfect soul to be casted in this waking dream I thought I was having.I asked him questions about the history of the Blue Goose and with much pleasure we had a great conversation. I then proceeded to the dinning room where 2 tables had guests. Strangely enough the 4 people were not related but they all appeared to look the same. My eyes followed every detail at the bar and in the restaurant. I thought at any moment I was going to hear the theme songs from all 3 directors. LolI said,"Goodnight" to the bartender and with a huge eerie smile he said, "Goodnight". As I turned away I thought to myself am I stuck in a time warp? Have I been here before? Am I dead and here in an afterlife? Is this heaven or hell.Whether Heaven or Hell the food is mediocre. The experience one has if they've never been to the BLUE GOOSE is a must see. One must have dinner, a cocktail, or just take a look at the Blue Goose restaurant and you too will be traveling in another dimension of time. Not of sight and sound but of mind. Just GO! My family has been going to Blue Goose Restaurant for years. Even with ownership changing over the years, this gem of a restaurant continues its reputation for a wide variety of wonderful meals as well as desserts. My husband and I even got married at Blue Goose! Chris Pappas is an affable and very accommodating host. Whatever you select for your meal, prepare to enjoy it. Among the favorites are filet of sole stuffed with crabmeat, the delicious turkey dinner offered as a special at Thanksgiving, scrumptious steaks offered for the carnivores in the group, golden-fried bay scallops, a deliciously creamy and sumptuous lobster bisque, and many more. Appetizers include crabmeat stuffed mushrooms, enormous giant shrimp in a shrimp cocktail, and others too numerous to name. A highlight from their dessert list is Buck's ultra-creamy, incredibly delicious ice cream, which comes in vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. Reservations are essential. Closed on Mondays.

My mom, boyfriend and I decided to drop in a week or so ago to try out a couple of items that were offered on the catering menu because we were thinking of possibly having my baby shower here. Extremely disappointed. The calamari was definitely frozen, the fried scallops came right out of the batter and they were not crispy, the prime rib was bland along with the vegetables and roasted potatoes. The only item that was decent was the chicken parm, but the pasta was served on the side rather than serving the chicken over the pasta. We paid over $100 and went home extremely upset with our left overs we didn’t even want.

Great food and service. Prices are cheapest around, large variety of dishes for anyone. Decore a little dated

Old time comfort joint. Spent 35 years at the bar one Friday happy hour, hearing tales of Stratford, Sikorsky, Shakespeare from friendly, chatty folks.

We were hosted in a private event on Wednesday after a funeral. The service was not great at first, being there was only one server, but when another arrived things ran more smoothly. The food was classic. Starting with salads and the house dressing, we had the sliced roast beef in au jus, mashed potatoes and steamed veg. The drinks arrived quickly from the bar. The room was well lit and allowed for guests to navigate visiting family members throughout. Dessert of chocolate torte and coffee were served at the end. The timing for the luncheon service was great.
