I had my food to go. I ordered a medium jerk chicken, rice & peas, & instead of cabbage I got the fried sweet plantains. Inside is a little too busy & small for my liking. It also isn't nothing to brag about. I find to go is better b/c it's a little hectic for me. Order a head of time so you're not there waiting long for your food. A lot of times their popular dishes are sold out.Their food used to be the best in town now it's mediocre. They fell off. Staff is always friendly!

I haven't tried much oxtail, but this was not special. The oxtail was not very flavorful compared to the other spot i had feel like it needed more. The cabbage would have been better off of it imo. I like vegetables but it did not taste fresh. I also don't feel the best after eating it. Service was fine and I liked the ambiance but would not be back

I ordered $40 worth of food from Uber eats and the order consisted of a jerk chicken meal medium with rice and peas and cabbage with mixed vegetables And the container was full of rice and peas and cabbage and mixed vegetables, and there was hardly no meat. It was not worth what I paid for it, and I was pissed when I got my food.

I had zero issues with customer service and food! Oxtails was amazing! Rice was just a tad bit on the dry side but still decent to eat. I Love the decor, really felt like I was in a restaurant shack in Jamaica! Very cute design. Easy parking. Location not too hard to find. Overall, I had a great experience and wonderful kind staff. I will honestly come back!

I had the jerk pork again and again it was cold. This makes me think its never fresh. I love the patties just don't know after so many visits over the years if its possible to keep dealing with a loss.

I purchased 2 med dishes of stewed chicken with rice and 2 patties. All I have to say is this is truly authentic, beautiful Jamaican food. Flavor is out of this world. Truly on point. The ladies were very kind and you can tell they put there all into what they do. I will definitely come back. God bless.

Drove from Boston and usually I say no one can't touch boston JA food but damn this jamaican restaurant food is top of my list. The j*** chicken was very fresh and I can taste the fresh herbs. The rice nice and fluffy. And the Carrot cake is sooooo good I drove off and turned around for another. The ladies were nice people 5 star. I will be back for sure.........and important it wasn't salty it was perfect ? ?

It's one of the best Jamaican style oxtails I've had in a while. Season was very good. The flavor was delicious. The beef patties and coco bread are also delicious. Will definitely be going back and recommending it.

I love Kingston cafe. I use to live in Stratford and got take out from there at least once a week. The red pea soup was my favorite. I live in New London now and there’s no Jamaican restaurants. I miss the authentic food and friendly faces. Kingston Kafe is the best. I’m making a special trip for that red pea soup.
