“I really enjoyed my experience at Esh. The staff were very friendly and attentive as was the food and cocktail choices we had were amazing. I was there on a date and loved the vibe. The GM was awesome too, he even validated my parking. It was a perfect place for a date of group of people. My only complaint would be the price was a little on the higher side for the entrees, but over all I enjoyed it and will be back someday.“
“Layla’s Falafel (Fairfield) has been around for such a long time and for good reason! The woman there is an absolute professional and the food is honestly delicious, it hasn’t changed since I can remember! I looked at negative reviews out of curiosity and it’s a shame for them! I have never had a bad experience and I’ve had their food as a treat, randomly over the course of at least 15 years. No one else compares. The flavor is delicious, especially the Arabic Shawarma! The garlic dipping sauce is phenomenal. If you want delicious and quality Middle Eastern food, this is where it’s at!“
“Wow what a great find! I was out for another solo dinner since the wife wasn't feeling good. I wanted to try something new and a place that hopefully had some flavor. I was not disappointed. I started with the white bean salad which was a large plate with fresh onions, tomatoes, fresh parsley and a light but flavorful dressing over soft, tender but not mushy white beans. It is a traditional plate in many cultures but they definitely got it right. I then had the gyro shawarma plate which had delicious lamb slices, fresh green salad, two kinds of rice, and a roasted jalapeño and tomato. Along the side they gave me a basket of toasted pita bread that was soft and fresh. The pistachio baklava at the end was fantastic- best I've had. The staff were like eating at a relative's house. They wanted to make sure I was comfortable even though I chose to sit at the bar. I'm guessing not many people eat at the bar. What a great spot!“

“Looking for an authentic fresh Mediterranean spot? Then my Gyro is the place to go. It’s family owned, so you know they care about the people and the ingredients they put in their food. There’s not a lot of additives, so the quality is great and not filled with a lot of unhealthy ingredients. Vegetables were fresh. The lettuce is Crisp tomatoes are juicy and the White sauce or cucumber sauce is a perfect blend to put over any of the food you get. The hummus tasted like he just whipped it up in front of us. The service was amazing. We were greeted soon as we walked. He gave us a few recommendations and some samples of things we might’ve wanted to try in the future. The owner is the cook, so he takes pride and what he do. Had great conversation and a few laughs while waiting. He’s very interactive with his customers. As people where walking in he knew them a a first name bases. There can be some wait time for some of the chicken but that’s so he knows no one will get sick and he can sleep at night. Overall, my experience at this location was exceptional.“
