What restaurant you're eating at seems to depend on what time of day. The Oar and Oak is their evening restaurant, and the Oar and Oak Birdhouse is their lunch name. At one point, pre-Covid, there had been two different physical locations, but now here we are, asking questions of the waiter on a random weekend because it's confusing. When we walked in, we were expecting more of a sit down restaurant, but it only had like 2 tables. I didn't mind that though. It was a chill place and we decided to eat there. I really liked my chicken sandwich. It had a good kick and the fries were also really good. The chicken patty was pretty big as well! Definitely recommend trying!

Forever on the hunt for the best fried chicken sandwich. Thought nothing could compare to one I discovered at SAW's Soul Kitchen in Birmingham, Alabama. But The Classic here at Oar & Oak Birdhouse is every bit as good and I did not even try the various specialty versions!
