I placed an order for delivery, they put maybe 1/4 of the items I ordered in with substitutions for the rest of the items that I didn’t order. I would have rather had my money back for said items. Upon contacting the store they said there was nothing they could do. I got charged for 75 dollars of food and received barely any of what I ordered. The food was soggy and lacked flavor. Customer service was rude and not helpful. 0/10 would not order again.

Ordered delivery, received food I didn’t order as substitutions with half of what I actually ordered with an apology note on my receipt instead of a return of payment for the things they were out of. I would rather have my money back than a container of white rice and some empanadas. Food was soggy and there were no sauces. Their only saving grace is their tres leches. Not worth the money, delivery fee, or effort.

I ordered the chicken stew with white rice. although it was tasty, I was basically given a pound of rice and three bites of chicken. there needs to be a better ratio as I took my 3 bites and was starving, not keen to just eat a pound of rice for the price paid. also paid $5+ for a small garden salad that was more of a side salad that should be given with the dinner order.

Delicious food! This review is based on the dishes that I have tried so far.The pork chops were cooked to perfection and soooo good! The rice with gandules took me back to PR-highly recommended! The bacalaito is currently one of my favs. It's simple and reminds me of the ones that my mom made. Que rico! The yuca - my current fav. It' so good. It's topped with garlic. The empanadillas are good. I have only tried the chicken so far. I have notice that they didn't taste the same all the times. One time they were crispier than the other two times. Also, the filling was slightly different each time. (They are filled with chicken and cheese) If you're looking for tasty Puerto Rican food options-stop in-the menu does not disappoint.I will be trying a few more dishes and updating the review as I try new dishes. The service has always been friendly. Additionally, the food ordered is always hot and the portions are great for sharing. The only dish that I tried twice and both times disappointed a bit-was the Jibarito (chicken sandwich on plantains) This sandwich would be better without the lettuce and tomatoes-they were soggy both times. They should add mozzarella to this and it would be perfect.Try it-you won't be disappointed!

Place has gone down hill every time I’ve gone. They have items in case that are already sold. Doesn’t make much sense they aren’t willing to give you them and make more.. And instead of taking 5 orders you should complete one first.

Don't ever eat here they are not clean!!! I choked on a screw in their empanada and all the restaurant owner did was apologize. It make me wonder what else you can find in their food. I'm dealing with a vocal cord injury as a result of their negligence! Run and don't look back!

I’ve given this place multiple try’s and it hasn’t been it each time I’ve been. My last experience I ordered a flat ham and cheese for 10$ with my drink. the cheese wasn’t melted, the ham was cold and then bread was hard. I went back to get it remade to get it exactly the same. I was super happy to have a Puerto Rican restaurant in stratford but I think I’ll be taking the ride to Bridgeport where I can get authentic, good Puerto Rican food at a reasonable price.
