I don't know what happened here, I have ordered from this location before and it was very good. Today the veggies and meat weren't fresh at all!! The soda was flat, even the straw was broken, and we heard another customer ask for another straw for the same reason. We couldn't see the server prepare the meat, and there were stickers in front of the veggies almost blocking the view. I don't plan to return there ever.

Posted hours closing at 10:00 pm on a Thursday night. Ordered online took payment and then said “Ready”. Only to show up to the establishment with all the lights off and door locked. Waste of money and terrible service. Why have hours if you do not stay open until the posted time.

I would give O stars if that option was available. A little over a week ago on Saturday afternoon around 2.30pm, me and my wife decided to grab a quick bite after we were done with our daily errands. Moment we walked in it felt very unwelcoming. It was empty, just us - no one was in. We could hear a women talking in the phone and she slowly made her self outwards towards sandwich prep area. She had her gloves on holding her phone. I asked her nicely that If I can get a footlong sandwich. She didn't greet me. Straight up said what kind of bread and sandwich? I said Multigrain bread. She said we don't have that bread. The menu seems it had a changeover or some updates which I was not familiar. I asked her for a chicken teriyaki. Then she replied that It would be no.16, then I answered it's okay then lets do it. Also, noted that she didn't change her gloves that was touching her filthy phone and all over the places. They didn't have the choice of my cheese. As soon as I requested the veggies of my choice to be in the sandwich, her rudeness kicked up in fifth gear. She goes " It is not the same as in no.16 menu- you are changing the recipe, blah blah blah." My wife and I were shocked at her attitude towards us. I kindly said to her, " Miss I have been eating in subway over 20 plus years and never heard of extra charge for customizing veggies ( Note - Not the avocado). I just simply wanted a Chicken Teriyaki sandwich with certain few veggies. And I don't think it is a big deal on doing that as usual." She rudely replied " Well it is not 20 years anymore, it is now. things changes, if you change it -then you have to pay for it." We were just simply wow! what a jerk. Never been treated like that ever in a restaurant where they brag about customer service and so on. We felt that we were judged and discriminated by the color of our skin from the moment we walked in. We simply did not want to give our business to one who discriminates and hates us. Her job was to make customers happy and leave satisfied. It seems that neither she want to be there nor us. We then just walked out from there and will never be stepping in there until she is gone or the store owner personally reaches out to us and rectify this issue.

Very disappointed, says open for eat in I came ordered food Sat to eat, then needed the rest room to wash my hands and was told rest rooms are not for public use, I mentioned it's law in restaurants have rest rooms open to wash or use by customers, the girl replied, dining in closed as well, thing is nothing was said as I sat to eat and nothing posted, I will never use this location 1140 main st Stratford, terrible to sell me food allow me to sit and eat but have no rest rooms open to wash, I will file a complaint

This restaurant is more often a miss with their sandwiches. I've gotten bread that's beyond stale a number of times, I've seen flies running amok, and I've gotten veggies/sauce with a weird taste that makes the whole sub inedible. When I returned the sub, in my most recent disappointment, I was told there is no refund. That's okay though because I'm going to contact the bank and have it reversed anyway because it sounds like theft to take money and provide food that can't be eaten. Btw, the restrooms are seeming closed permanently... Can't even get that straightened out.
Stopped in to grab a sandwich after a 12 hour shift at work ordered a 12 inch Italian BMT and i made it a pro which is just shy of a $13.00 sandwich, i put lettuce pickles and asked for olives on the sandwich as well the person behind the counter put literally 6 pieces of olives on my footlong sandwich, i asked for more and was told that would be an additional charge for more olives on a $13.00 sandwich. I know the economy is tough but charging for more then 6 pieces of olives is this company struggling that bad we have to nickel and dime. Customers on a sandwich that already costs 12.54 plus tax. High prices quality is low at best.

Subway is a below average place to get a sandwich. Prices are high quality is low and this franchisee doesn't always offer all bread types I'm sure it is to save money. Only good thing is it is usually quick.

This place is horrible... Was there on 10/8/22 @1:30 The woman there was nasty and refused to put what I wanted on my sandwich. She said that's how it comes...she told me the food cost was high....I didn't even wanted all those toppings on it......Really rude.........Never again......
