The people who work in the front are very rude. The price you pay for your food and for it not to be made correctly is insane. The owner was supposed to contact us and never has. Don’t get me wrong when the food is made properly is good but four weekends now nothing is made correctly, food was very dry today . I get better food at a gas station with a deli or the corner store and pay a lot cheaper too . Any mistakes they make they don’t fix it unless you come back right away , very inconvenient when ordering for to go .

It takes 13 people behind the counter to make this place run. If you're that busy all the time and still pumping out orders, you're doing something right. Staff can be short with you sometimes but they're nice, and they're fast. Sandwiches are always great, and the menu has lots of options at a fair price.

The Pickle Barrel is a great place to buy food from where they understand and are accommodating when you have allergies. I have seen them whip the fryer off to remove butter for my dairy allergy. Also, the quality of the food is great.

One of the cleanest deli's you can go to. The food is pretty good too. I feel really comfortable eating anything I ordered from here. The only issue for me is the corner location getting out depending on what direction you are going.

Went here for the first time to grab lunch for work ordered a roast beef and mozzarella sandwich that was clearly just a steak and cheese so that was pretty lame. Also ordered a chicken Caesar wrap. I don’t know if they have a new take on a chicken Caesar wrap that I’m not aware of, but there was no cheese no croutons, little bit of lettuce and sazone flavored chicken was pretty disappointed, and the quality of the food was pretty average

Today I ordered two buffalo bill sandwich’s and when I got home it was lettuce mayo and chicken no buffalo sauce. I called and they told me to bring back because I don’t live close I said I can send a picture and when I did they said they are not going to give me a credit they need sandwiches back. NOT very good customer service. Even the manager did nothing

It pains me to review the Pickle Barrel so poorly. It’s a great little small town sandwich shop with plenty of options for everyone. I need to first say that I have ZERO issue with the staff or the food. The food is always delicious. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. My issue is with their procedures. I always order through their app. As I have very limited time to eat both breakfast and lunch, I order ahead and schedule a good pick up time. That being said, I have never been able to just walk in, give my name and walk out. My order is either never ready, even when I place it 30-45 minutes ahead of time, or it is ready but instead of just giving it to me (paid for ahead of time also) it’s placed in line behind others who still have to pay. Apparently they have a pick up counter but only if you know it’s there. Otherwise I too often stand there waiting for someone to ask if I’m all set. On one occasion some coworkers and I placed a an order of about 5 items. When my coworker went to pick up they told her they had lost the ticket and only one sandwich was made. They had to reprint the ticket and finish the order. On another occasion, I placed an order at 6:30am, as I was leaving home, set a pick up time for 7am. Upon arriving (at 7:03) I was quickly asked if I was picking up, but when I gave my name and said it was an online order the lady working the register went to their ticket printer and pulled off what had to be about a dozen orders. Having worked in a similar environment I understand that sometimes orders get backed up and this lady, for what it’s worth, was working the register and front counter alone, so I understand it’s difficult to keep up with things. But that’s where poor management is responsible. Another issue with this particular order, I had ordered a bagel as well which I only later realized wasn’t given to me. Admittedly my fault for not checking, but I was already angry and in a rush to get to work. In summary, I like Pickle Barrels food. I like their staff. But they seriously need to examine their service flow.

I stopped in there this morning 10:00. I stood there and marveled that a deli could have 11 people working behind the counter. However, I stood there for five minutes and not one of the 11 employees asked me if I was being helped. Perhaps the formula of having 11 people working at 10:00 am (not exactly the breakfast or lunch rush) is not working.

I really enjoy the food from The Pickle Barrell, but I also enjoy the whole environment. The people that work there are very kind and helpful. When I get food delivered from them, it is delivered in a timely manner and everything is correct. Overall it is one of my favorite places to eat, especially breakfast.P.S. Try a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with scrambled eggs and fried onions. Also try home fries with fried onion and American and cheddar cheese on top. (Ketchup optional on both)

Ordered 2 sandwiches Ham and pastrami. I was late picking up my order. The service was ac​com​mo​dating. Flawless pick up. And my sandwich OMG so very good. My Dad enjoyed his hot pastrami. It was a pleasure and a joy. Gotta get back more often.
