“Today my friend and I spent many hours at the bakery. It’s was a heartwarming experience for both of us since we both are parents to children with special needs. As parents I think it’s normal for us to worry about the future of our children, today we got a peek of the opportunities that are out there and it was beautiful! Thank you for showing us that there are people who love and care for those who may need a little help or guidance outside of their families. Not only way it a friendly environment but the food and coffee is amazing and I would recommend La Stella’s to anyone!!“

“Some boutique business owners think their way of doing things are the best. Even when given constructive criticism, they don't budge... not even... we will look into it... and never do...you don't have to but acknowledging that possibly the input provided was worthy of investigation is probably the right thing..not self righteous talking over the person calling in and basically not listening or even pretending to listen. Some of your clients may not be complaining but would if they thought they could. Offering money back is nice...good job there. Everything else I ever purchased there was very good. I expect that 1 dessert type item at restaurant prices would be delicious...not dry, tasteless, and nothing like the name it was sold as...call it a dry bread roll with a sprinkling of cinnamon and icing to make it edible ... your comment that 1 other person complained that it wasn't like "Cinnabon" just shows your sense of superiority. I never expected it to be like that product, I expected it to be better.“

“I've always made my own birthday cake. I don't trust other people, because usually I end up with a gritty, overly sugary cake OR something fully dark chocolate and WAY too bitterAnna makes her cakes somewhere in between, which is absolutely amazing! She's also the best decorator I know!I used to make a big deal about baking my own cake every year... until I tried Grounded Baking's cakes!!My birthday is in October, so I tend to go for a gothic/Halloween themed cake and she ALWAYS gives me something fun and SO beautiful I don't even want to cut it up lmao!!I always order a red velvet, chocolate ganache cake and I CANNOT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH. I'm VERY particular about the cakes I eat, and it's especially hard to find a good ganache cake, but hers are SO good! She's the ONLY person I've actually paid to make my own cake in my almost 30 years!Up until I found her bakery, I actually COMPLETELY REFUSED to order a cake from a bakery! Now I can't get enough!!I ordered a cake from her 2 birthdays ago (so this will be the third birthday since my first order) and I STILL regret not reaching out to her for my cake last year! I have to search for pictures of the first cake, I'll post them if I find themThis year, though, I couldn't even wait for my birthday and ordered a SECOND cake early on my own lol!!This time, she gave me a black frosted cake with SUPER glittery sprinkle decorations! It reminds me of dragon or mermaid scales! Last time it was a black frosted cake with red and white chocolate skulls on the top! And I'm SO EXCITED to see this years' birthday cake! I tend to give her a good amount of room to be flexible and creative in her own right, but it's ALWAYS a goth/Halloween themeAND IT'S SO HEAVY, TOO LOL!! I should have weighed the cake before I cut into it because it's crazy heavy from the ganache lol I'd say it weighs around 10 pounds or so, if I had to guessI literally cannot recommend ordering from Grounded Baking's products enough!!! “Love this place! My cousin gave me a gift certificate for Christmas and I have been back a couple times since! The couple that own it are wonderfully warm and happy to see you. Very friendly and helpful. Sautéed cauliflower wrap was fantastic. Tabbouleh is amazing. Of course the deserts are insanely delicious. We will be back. ❤️“

“We recently booked Chocolate Rose for my wedding in January and I’m so glad we did! Since the beginning they were so nice and attentive and easy to work with. I made a few changes along the way and they were so quick to accommodate and make sure I got what I wanted. The guests loved the cake and the dessert platters (they were gone in seconds I barely had time to try them all myself)! It was perfect. Exactly how I imagined it.“

“I thoroughly enjoy going to this location (Plainfield). Coffee is far better than Dunkin' Donuts. The muffins, omg let's talk about the muffins! The orange cranberry is to die for. I believe everything is made fresh at this location and you can taste it. Their donuts are amazing as well. They are always offering specialty donuts like a lucky charm, Oreo, or holiday inspired offerings. Their bagels are soft, flavorful, and big. You're not getting a tiny grocery store bagel here. I have to compliment the management because the ladies working here are always kind, smiling, and fast working. They train their staff right! There is plenty of seating which seems to be an underutilized part of many coffee shops since 2020. The music isn't too loud and you'll be treated with the wonderful aroma of baked goods and coffee the moment the door opens and you enter“

“We went to zest the other day. As soon as we walked in the lady behind the counter greeted us. With a smile and hello. Her name was Laura. We had a cappuccino which was excellent. Also, a scone which was very good. We will go back when we are in the area.“

“kind and speedy staff both at the drive thru and walk-in, fat boy with ketchup is awesome! iced cappuccino had a bit of a weird taste of a flavored sweetener in the drink but when i ordered they did say it already had sweetener in it, so it was really good for what it was!“

“Grabbed some cinnamon rolls while I was at the casino and was not disappointed! I will say that four is WAY too many for one person, but it was a birthday treat. Was in and out quickly and they even provided me an extra cup of frosting.I only wish they were more in the casino rather than Tanger as it's quite a walk from where we were to get there and the stall that used to sell them on the other end of the mall area was closed down, likely due to low traffic in that area.“

“I had the combo ( Italian grinder)You can definitely taste each ingredient and the bread is surprisingly soft and doesn't get hard overnight. One of the best Grinders i ever had.The prices are very affordable (under $10) for a large grinder and staff is very friendly.“

“When I moved to New York, this was my favorite bakery. After moving back to Boston, I've missed this place dearly. I couldn't believe I found this bakery inside Foxwoods. Most of the staff were friendly and the variety of pastries were abundant for a small store. It had everything you expect to see at a Chinese bakery. Totally recommend if you need a quick snack or a pick me up.“

“This place is on the corner directly across from cedars restaurant underneath the great cedar hotel it has to be the best bakery ever they have a bacon maple donut that is really a cronut for $3.50 and it's out of this world you can also get an entire 4 to 5 lb homemade carrot cake for less than $30 they make gorgeous wedding cakes and have all kinds of pastries and fancy candies and cookies and I could go on and on cake by Franck is absolutely the best“
