We were there a few nights ago. It was ok. The waitress was sweet.The bread was a bit dry and didn't taste fresh. One of our party got a salad and the dressing tasted like straight vinegar.The food was ok....I was happy to hear the pasta was homemade but it was very mushy. The veggie ravioli didn't really have any flavor; you couldn't really tell what the filling was. The manicotti was bland and mushy as well.It was edible but definitely could have used some more flavor/seasonings

The food is good. But l was shocked to be charged $15 for a single shot of tequila. That should not have cost as much as the mixed drinks people were getting. At least give me the choice of selecting “top shelf”. The previous time we went there, we used a $65 gift card my friend had received. The waitress came back and somehow, the gift card was for $60. Huh? Friend pulled out receipt, it was for $65. So, was gift card even run through machine, or did waitress just think my friend said the card was for $60 and took her chances? I won’t be back.

Food is good but place is very outdated. Mostly booth for seating that are more uncomfortable than a coach seat on a long haul flight. They need to ditch the booths and put in nice 4 person tables. Also update the place to this century

Had a the most delicious dinner tonight with friends that hadn't been before. We all were raving about our meals. Excellent!! Little slow on the service, but we had plenty to gab about while we waited. Can't wait to come back! This was my third time and it was just as good as when the former owners were running things. So pleased! I highly recommend the Shrimp and Scallop Livornese!

You can't get better in the Torrington area! Highly recommend!
I’m genuinely confused with all the 5 star ratings. The food took almost an hour and a half to come out and it was bland at best. There can’t be more than one cook in that kitchen because the amount of time it takes to get your food is UNREAL and it is 100% not worth the wait. First and last visit for sure.

Extremely disappointed, got there pretty early for dinner 6:15 ish, maybe 3 tables & 2 servers, get seated pretty promptly. Order 4 oysters for an an app. They came out pretty quickly , we then place our orders ,I order the penne Al a vodka w/shrimp & my for hubby “veal Marsala w/a side of pasta w/red sauce…salad & soup come out after about 20 min… mind you the people next to us came in about 15 min after us & already have their meals?!! How is this possible when when placed our orders first ??! after waiting probably 40 min our meals come out & my husband gets served veal parm?! ? I said to young girl, we ordered the veal Marsala w/a side of pasta & red sauce & she says “ no you didn’t you ordered the veal parm” um, I Know what we ordered & it wasn’t this, he doesn’t like this… so after some hesitation & a an attitude she takes the plate back to the kitchen and comes back to tell us they will make the veal Marsala, we said it’s okay no worries we’re not waiting another 30 + min for another entree, she like no it’s okay we’ll make it quick… okay sure… 15 min later she brings out a plate w/“veal Marsala” and that’s it!! No pasta, no side , nothing! I said where is his pasta? She proceeds to say, he had it with the other meal! Mind you it want even touched! The whole plate went back! I said “huh” so you’re going to bring out a slab of meat & call it a meal , cuz u decided to place an order for “what you thought you remembered the order that you forgot to place , when you went the other table & placed there order first then finally remembered we placed our entree order , but put in the wrong order?? and then give us an attitude for correcting u? Terrible service, and we actually felt discriminated against because of my skin color… it’s a damn shame that in 2024 you can’t go into a restaurant and expect the same service as everyone else… shame on you Venetian Restaurant, smh ? do not waste your time, money or energy…. Hence why it’s so empty on a Friday night….
