Despite the food being made fresh, they cannot handle any simple adjustments to the menu, even just not rolling the food in the bread. They said they would have to charge to make their job easier, when the resturant was basically empty.

Clean, cozy, authentic Greek food served by friendly, upbeat staff. Loved the Greek music, or more likely a streaming Greek radio station, playing at just the right volume in the background. We went at 2:30 on a Friday so there were maybe three other diners. The calamari was crunchy and laced with hot peppers - so inviting. I had a chicken gyro and my wife ordered the lamb gyro. Both were bulging with Greek-spiced meat, hearty meals by themselves. We would have preferred a bit more vegetables and tzatziki sauce, but that’s just our personal taste. The fries were beefy and filling. Our biggest gripe about YiaYia’s is that it’s 35 miles from our home! Will definitely visit again when we’re in the area.

Great. We had the beef/lamb combo platter. I have recommended it to my whole family.

Yia Yia's is an absolute gem if you're looking for amazing Greek food. Every single thing we had was so fresh and full of flavor that was far better than any other Greek restaurant we have tried. I highly recommend the gyros, dips, and incredible pita. The Greek wine is wonderful as well, it adds a nice balance to round out your meal.Portions are very reasonable for the price and quality of food. Staff are all very friendly and happy to tell you all about the different menu offerings. We felt welcome and had great service without feeling rushed at all.

Had the absolute PLEASURE of a dinner at YiaYia's this week. I have never been, my sis-in-law has and her ravings were SPOT ON. This is handsdown the BEST traditional Greek food I may have had in 30 yrs! It is a small, charming restaurant. The menu is small, in my experience the small menu means the food is done very well. The waitstaff were very attentive, kind and professional. This is not fast food- good food takes time and was worth the wait. Portions were perfect. The hand-made baklava was INSANELY good. I mean probably the best I have ever had, and it is my favorite dessert so I have tasted many! The only bad thing I can say is I live 2 hours away... can't wait to go back someday hopefully soon!

I had lunch at 1pm on a Friday. We were promptly seated, as there was only one other table being served, but eventually the place started to fill up.Food: We ordered the Athenian shrimp for an appetizer. It was good, had a lot of sauce and a little spicy. We liked it. Might need to ask for more pita bread for the sauce. We had the pork souvlaki and lamb gyro for our mains. I had mine served with Greek fries. I really liked my gyro, my dad thought the pork was just okay. The portions were huge! I barely touched my fries and brought them home. We thought that the menu was a little limited because we normally order the lemon chicken soup and mousakka when we visit other restaurants.Ambiance: When you step inside, you're transported to Santorini. Stone floors, white walls, Greek music playing... I've been to Greece and it really felt like I was there. The restaurant is in a kind of strip mall. The parking lot is a little awkward because there seem to be some apartments in the back? There wasn't as much parking, either.Overall, I enjoyed eating here. It's almost one hour away, so I probably wouldn't come often, but recommend it if you're in the area.

Normally pleased with food. This time food wasn't good. Cold, dry, salty along with small portions but based on quality it really didn't matter. Will try again one more time before I stop going. Hope it just a bad night for the kitchen.

We got takeout here and everything (lamb gyros, greek salad) was delicious and generously portioned. Would come back.
