The only thing worse than a bad restaurant is an inconsistent one. I've had a past order that was FANTASTIC all around. Though the first and the last orders of the 3 I've attempted were terrible. Missing order items like a shake and sauces, and those that I did receive were on the most godawful dry, stale bread that were difficult to actually bite as if they were microwaved and left out for a day. That was for both a hot dog and a burger. When it was good, it was perfect. When it was bad, it was nearly inedible. I'm guessing I got stuck with the B squad the two bad times, but the orders were at least a year apart. If you're willing to gamble on who happens to be working, give it a shot. Though unfortunately, don't be surprised if you go on a bad-staff day and throw out half your order.

Ordered online - it was ready pretty quick which was nice. Food itself was ok- maybe it would have been better if I had ordered and ate there instead of take out. Fries were much more oily and soggy than expected. Chicken sandwich was ok but not much flavor to it. Might try again and eat there but wasn't overally impressed with the quality of the food.

Update - I am attaching what I paid as his reply said it was 13. It was 13.96 without tip and I had to go back to buy a drink (bottled coke) . They didn’t have ice as I asked for ice and a cup if possible. No soda machines. It was an extra 3.22$ for a drink . So total 13.96 for a small burger and fries and 3.22 for a soda= 17.18$I will attach a picture of what I paid!Wish I could have said I enjoyed it. Very mediocre at best and the burger was so small. No drink option except for canned bottle soda and a burger with just fries cost 15$ . The burger was very small . Unfortunately I will not be returning. I really don’t get the hype…

Overpriced for a mediocre hotdog with a soggy bun. Can't get a burger to order. Everything is well done.

We order Fryborg often either via takeout or delivery. Everything we’ve tried on the menu is spectacular. Ingredients are fresh and the menu gets updated seasonally to keep things interesting. The fries are obviously superb but we also love the chicken sandwich, smash burger, grilled cheese, and cheesesteaks. I lived in Philly for a few years and this is the closest thing I’ve found in CT to the real thing. The house made cheese sauce is amazing! Highly recommend!

First time here. And last. I got a Smashburger which was edible but that’s the best I can say. We got our order to go. The fries container is completely unventilated so the fries steamed on the way home and were soggy and limp. The “cheese sauce” was pale and anemic - almost no cheese flavor. My husband got the chili cheese fries and also soggy, limp & flavorless. The chili (which they brag is house-made) is also anemic and way too finely chopped. it looked like cat food. We *should* have known because we went there on Friday at dinner time and the place was 100% empty. Next time we’ll go to the Chinese restaurant near it, Mici’s, who has great food!

Went here with the fam for an early dinner and everything we had was fantastic. As a Philly guy I have a high standards for cheesesteaks and this was the best one I've had anywhere outside of PA. The crispy chicken sandwich was a bit hit with my wife. My kids had a burger and chicken tenders and they ate everything, which is saying a lot! Fries were also awesome. Obviously not frozen and served up hot and with the perfect amount of salt. My new favorite place in Trumbull!

Fryborg just started offering breakfast. I had the bacon egg and cheese on toasted sourdough and it was super tasty. The sourdough was a refreshing change from the usual hard roll. I stole bites of the breakfast burrito, And it was awesome. Crispy tots, bacon and sausage, lots of melty cheese. I don't know which one I like better, but I know I'll be getting them both again soon. Donuts are also a new menu item and they are killer! Super fresh, made in house, And they have really fun, bold flavors. They had blueberry, pistachio, cookies and cream, and classic Cinnamon sugar. The vibe and the store itself are really fun. Definitely check them out.
