Had dinner at Sushi Sakura recently. While we thought the food was good, the service was not. We were not greeted when we arrived, as the person at the front desk was busy on the phone. When the food arrived, the waitress did not know which item was for whom (and we were only a party of 2). After she walked away, we noticed that we had no silverware, and had to find someone to bring us some. While we understand they were busy with takeout orders, they should be more professional in handling in house guests. This place has great potential, and I hope they get it together.

Excellent service and absolutely delicious food! That's really all you need to know. The staff is consistently courteous, patient and knowledgeable. I really appreciate their recommendations on portion size and menu items. It's a great restaurant!

Excellent sushi experience. Fish was fresh and the dishes were creative and very tasty. The owner was very friendly and informative on the dishes. A great experience, we will be back!

Won't come back. The sushi lunch special is horrible. Both rolls taste like grocery store sushi !! Sushi Lunch special is only allowed in restaurant. 18.00 for 2 basic rolls with fries, won't let you substitute for even a soup or salad. Very limited menu and extremely overpriced for what you're getting. No one ever came over to check on the table either, until the check came.

Ordered a california roll and a cooked salmon roll. The cooked salmon roll was cold and had a canned salmon quality. Both orders had crusty, dry wasabi. Makes me wonder how fresh my order was. It's a shame that kosher sushi is synonymous with bland sushi. The authenticity is sorely missed. Good luck!

Our waitress was really nice and accommodating. This restaurant is now kosher. I use to like their sushi. I went yesterday with a friend who keeps kosher. First, my drinking glass had lipstick on it. The waitress was very nice when I asked for a to go cup after that. I ordered a sweet potato roll and a kani (fake crab) roll with cooked salmon on top. My friend got a poke bowl. She said it was ok. It was definitely a lot of food and my sushi rolls were big, but bigger isn't better. I feel bad saying anything since I didn't say something while I was there. The sweet potato didn't feel like it was completely cooked (it was a little hard in some places). The fish roll, just ok. Couldn't really taste anything but the large chunk of salmon on the top. The waitress again was very nice about ringing up our orders separately. I will not be back.

My favorite sushi place in NW Baltimore. The family that runs this place is always caring and friendly. They were so nice to my granddaughter bringing her extra tofu and edamame!
Excellent food and service. I tried the shrimp fried rice and my boyfriend had the chicken hibachi. We will definitely look forward to returning to this restaurant soon.

This is my go to spot near my home. Everything is always fresh, quick and consistent. It is covered in anime pictures and has a homey feel. Appears to be kid friendly. I mainly do carry out.

Let's start off by saying I am not a big fan of sushi and after yesterday trying sushi with my best friend here at Sushi Sakura was amazing! It was so delicious and comes out fresh and hot (hot enough I burnt my tongue) lol! I absolutely recommend this place, I want to go back and try the rest of the menu out. The lady was very nice, and attentive. I got the Tango Roll I 10/10 recommend it and my best-friend got the old court roll 10/10 as well they are somewhat similar but different in they own way :)

I thought that this restaurant was pretty decent until yesterday. We are in the middle of a Pandemic!!!!! I walked in for lunch to find the women behind the counter taking orders with no mask. Her husband was not masked either. There were no customers in the restaurant so I accepted her apology as they both rushed to find their mask. Later I looked up to find the young man who was making my sushi did not have on a mask. When I said something about I was told "oh his face is so skinny". I replied " I don't care he should be wearing a mask". I'm sure that this is common practice as he was so comfortable making someone else's food without following proper safety measures. I WILL NEVER VISIT THE ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN!!!!
