I got a chef specialty roll which mind you are not cheap ! And it was EXTREMELY SMALL I’m talking 1/4 inch thick it looked like it was half of a half and it tasted spoiledI was told 10 mins and I waited 30 and there was no one thereI will be returning to Peking house next door

My partner and I get takeout here for our date night once a week because we love it so much. The staff are unbelievably kind and considerate, the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable, and the food is affordable and delicious.

The only reason I'm giving a 2 instead of 1 star is because we had a previous good experience. Only thing I can say, is do NOT takeout from here. Look at these portion sizes, they were $14 and $16 dollars respectively, for 6 prices of sushi the size of my thumb, literally, the photos don't do if justice. The rice was also clearly old they did not heat any of the tempura, so it was chewing cold dough... awful takeout experience. Other reviews say 5 star probably ate in-house.

Very good sushi and lovely people that work there. Friday and Saturday are busy at night so if you order to go like we do, get it in early if you can or there may be a bit of a wait.

Just moved to Vernon, and this place is awesome! I learned to never judge a restaurant by its outside appearance after coming here. I’m very picky when it comes to sushi and was amazed by how good it was. For my vegetarians, the peanut avocado roll is a must! The crab rangoons were also great. Highly recommend the Vernon Roll, the Sushi Sandwich, and the Fancy Shrimp Tempura. Will definitely be coming back!!!!

Thankful for yelp or I wouldn't have found this place! My friend lives near here so we decided to go for a sushi lunch date. It was a Friday afternoon and there were only a couple other customers. Staff was kind and attentive. My friend and I have tried many sushi spots in the state and we usually get gyoza as an app. We both agreed this was the best gyoza we've had! Their lunch specials are great, we got three rolls for $15 each. All my rolls (sweet potato, California, and spicy crab) were amazing and I loved the presentation! I'll be back here for sure!

Took our daughter for lunch as a treat away from UCONN. Food was delicious and we are picky. Special rolls were fantastic. Service was friendly, gracious, but not pushy. Definitely worth the detour.
